18650 Batteries Weak Vapor and Flavor

When I got my aloha it came preowned with the batteries,so I have no real idea how old they are. The batteries just seem really weak for what should be 3.7. I get zero flavor,weak vapor and no warmth.
I tried to blame the atty,but it preforms fine on an 808,901,eGo and Puck. The batteries seem to hold a charge for a long time,and there is no difference in flavor,warmth or vapor between a 15hr old battery or one fresh off the charger
Are the batteries supposed to be this weak,or should I replace them?

If the atty is OK, it's got to be the battery or the circuitry. Put in another battery and see if the problem persists.

If you have a multimeter you can check voltages and resistance levels. You'd check the voltage of the battery, and the device. You'd check the resistance of the atty.

Never blame the Atty<pops> ..... After you do the multimeter test above:

Some batteries are high-drain, some not. That means they allow more amps through. Some other batteries are amp limited regardless of the calculation (V*V/R is theoretical - the battery may not actually put out the amps). I thought that didn't matter on 18650's but .... hey. Worth getting another 18650 to check it out, IMHO. Maybe they build up some internal resistance over time. IDK. Just a thought. Try another brand. See the Battery University section, and the modder's area for opinions on batteries. Don't know what you can do about it if it is the device's resistance that is the problem, other than a lower resistance atty. Clean the contacts/connector first, of course.

If you're going the 18650 route, it doesn't hurt to have a few.. and a fresh one would be nice, to give you a comparison. Good luck with that one!

I'd have to agree with AttyPops, buy at least one more for comparison. If the problem is in the device you could potentially change it, but if you don't know much about electronics or electrical circuitry that isn't an option. I just ordered some Ultrafire 3000mah 18650's from Madvapes Li-ion Batteries for $9.99 each. They have the Trustfire 2400mah 18650's for $6.29.

What resistance were the atty that you were using? Only real difference I think that battery has to my 17670 is the size and mAh rating(pretty big difference in that rating but still). I tried a standard resistance atty with my batter and it sucked also. LR that I purchased for the battery and they worked great.
