hi I have a sigelei 150 I have two Sony vtc4s and two Samsung 25rs I think they both perform the same but that's not the question the question is when should I recharge my batteries should I kill them completely or charge them when around 30%

I always charge mine around 30 to 50%. Seems I get better power on a fresh charge. When it gets around 50% seems it lacks a bit compared to a fresh battery. Of course that's just me. I wouldn't go below 30% IMHO. I hope this helps!

Ask someone who has that mod and knows for sure.
I have the sigelei 100watt plus and Someone that has one tested the batteries when the mod says they're at 0% and they were 3.6-3.7 volts.
So that mod is ok , though still some people charge them at different amounts.
I take mine out anywhere from 20-10%.
If you have a meter you could check how much volts are in the battery at a certain %.

Li-Ion batteries aren't like the old rechargables... they like staying fully charged, and don't develop "memory". In fact, if they drop below 3.2v, they can die for good... so topping them off isn't a bad thing. Sounds like your mod is designed to prevent that by getting you to charge them well before they get there.

I prefer to put mine on charge when they get to 3.5 - 3.3 V....

have a Sig 100 and when my Sony VTC5 batteries read 50% on my device they read 3.7 on my DMM and that's when i recharge.
i hoarded many pairs of VTC5's well over a yr ago and there still kicking strong

To promote the longevity of lithium batteries, you should charge them when their voltage reaches between 3.4 - 3.5 volts. Never drain them lower than this as it is hard for the battery to recover from such a low voltage. It's better to charge a partially drained battery than to fully drain a battery down.

New batteries are shipped with less than a full charge, so its a wise idea to charge them when you first receive them. Never charge more than 4.2 volts.
