That is a heck of a dent, may cause connectivity problems or bottom out contact/switch adjustment.

As inexpensive as batteries are, I wouldn't continue to use it.

Can i use the thor imr 18650 batteries?

I'm not trying to sound rude or unhelpful, but, it doesn't sound like you have the necessary experience to use a mechanical safely.

Only use name brand cells bought from reliable & reputable sources with a sufficient CDR to support the amp drain the resistance you use causes.

Never heard of one. I wouldn't use it. I suggest using only LG, Samsung, or Sony brands/models shown below. Suggested suppliers are in the blue section. Any other brand is likely a rewrap. Are You Using a Rewrap (Rebranded) Battery?

'Thor' is another re wrap cell, not an actual manufacturer, no telling what cell is actually under the wrap.

The 30a rating is fictitious, there is no such thing as a 30a 2600mah 18650 cell.
VTC4 is a decent 23a CDR cell, there are better choices depending on your amp draw.

What resistance range do you normally use?
You are accurately measuring resistance & checking for shorts before firing on a mechanical, right?
