18650 Battery for SID

[Calypso]

I'm looking at the SID for a new mod. I see alot of "This battery is not high drain" and "those batteries do not fit the mod" and "the battery should be unprotected" traffic. So my questions are..... What is the recomended battery for the SID. Does protected VS unprotected matter? Flat top or button top? Which manufactures batteries fit? Best place to buy? Details please.

So I decided to go with the SVD instead of the SID. It seems to be better built, has the features I want and is cheaper at FasTech and does not appear to suffer from the battery issues. I also get some high drain batteries from Orbtronic NCR18650PD. Now just have to wait for it to arrive.
