So, I bout me a SID on Cyber Monday. Got a charger and 3 batteries. 1 TrustFire 18650 and 2 Samsung ICR 18650's. The only batter that fits is the TrustFire. The Samsungs will not fit in the tube, they are just to big. Can I take the shrink wrap off of the Samsungs and see if they fit? Is it safe to use them like this? I will be getting the 18350 tube for my SID to make it smaller when I need it to be so what are the best batteries for this?

So, in short I need to know if I can use the Samsungs un-shrink wrapped and suggestions on the best 18350 and 18650 batteries please.

There's a superstition in here than anything with "fire" in the name is not a good idea.

I cannot recommend messing with your batteries in any way, in fact a lot of people will discard batteries with damaged wrappers as a matter of course. I'd bet the Samsungs are better batteries, but the fact you are having to struggle to make them fit at all is an indication that you need to think again.

Off the top of my head: buy good quality batteries - AWs (rtdvapor.com), Panasonics, Sony's etc are regarded as reliable and top quality. There is no point in trying to save a few c, so buy the best you can afford. I have AW 18650s and 18350s.

Your safety is not worth cobbling something in there at all costs!

Upon thermal runaway some batts go M-80 and some go smoke bomb.
Try to buy batts that go smoke bomb to avoid personal injury.
Li-Po and some protected batts have proven to go M-80.

These Samsung and efest batts perform great and hopefully don't M-80?
I plan to induce thermal runaway (from safe distance) when my batts wear out to see how they blow.

Its been awhile since I heard an 18mm dia. battery wouldn't fit in an APV designed for 18xxx series batteries. I would be taking the batteries and the APV back to whomever I purchased them from and get either a refund or replacements... As far as batteries are concerned, there are more manufacturers out there that specify genuine AW batteries for their devices and nothing else...
