18650 mod @ 5v - need enclose for it

Guys, I know some of you played with 18650 batteries and TI chip to bang it up to 5v. I wanted to know what you've used as an enclosure?
I have one, but the box is too big (about 1 inch longer than the battery).
Looking for something that will not look like an old brick phone =)

I got a 3"x2"x1" box from Rat Shack it fits nicely. Will need to use a spring clip on the negative end though as there is not much room for a spring.

I have a similar box, but it is big.
If I manage to fit the TI board inside the tube, this might be a better option...
I love the 2 AA box enclosure, just wish they were making one for 18650...

I just got a PERFECT 18650 "mod Box" with fantastic potential -- The Phidias Woodimus over at Nhaler

That it is -- But it IS a great box fit's 2 CR123A's, one 18650 or pretty much ANY single cell of lesser size and there's Quite a bit of room for all else one would want to throw (or currently places) in there with enough room for a second story -- with screw terminals to boot on a 3A switch -- embedded

MadVapes.com, guys.. there're more than one over there that'll accommodate an 18650.. a C-battery box, for instance, will work with a little trimming. so will the LED flashlight he carries: remove the 3xAAA housing, bore out the battery cap till it's deep enough to fit the extra length of the 18650, and voila.. 9/10 times there's not enough space left for the tail-switch to still function, but you can easily install a tactile to remedy that (think Magnum or Chuck).
