I was a 3+ pack a day smoker, now down to 5 to 10 cigs a day, and I don't push very hard. If you quit the cigs all at once, there are a number of withdrawal symptoms that you can get, even though you're still getting nicotine. Analogs have a ton of other crud that you are no longer getting. I'm planning to get off the cigs slower than most seem to, because I had such a heavy smoking habit for 30+ years, and I'm hoping to avoid any major withdrawl problems.
Right after I eat is the hardest time without doubt.
One thing I've noticed is that all ejuice is sweet. All of it. I think that VG and PG must both start out sweet, even with no flavoring, so it simply isn't possible to get any flavor that doesn't leave a sweet aftertaste. I don't like sweet stuff, so for me, that is certainly not a good thing.
I'm using 24 mg fluid, for now. Once I get completely off the cigs, I'd like to move that down. I've considered getting some higher nic juice just for after meals, when I have the strong cravings for a regular cig. I'm not sure that would do it, but my hope would be that a higher nic would let me feel satisfied with the vaping right after a meal.
