Lots of people vape 36. You need what you need. Nothing wrong with that.

I started with 36. Sometimes I got a little dizzy :). I'm at 24 now and looking to cut back slowly. Just started mixing a few of my own and I try to keep it at 24 or below. I was a heavy Marlboro 100's smoker for about 45 years.

Interesting... I've ordered some sweet food flavors, but they haven't arrived yet. I was wondering if they would satisfy the urge or not. How long would you say it took for the food flavors to not cause a craving for you?

I was a 3+ pack a day smoker, now down to 5 to 10 cigs a day, and I don't push very hard. If you quit the cigs all at once, there are a number of withdrawal symptoms that you can get, even though you're still getting nicotine. Analogs have a ton of other crud that you are no longer getting. I'm planning to get off the cigs slower than most seem to, because I had such a heavy smoking habit for 30+ years, and I'm hoping to avoid any major withdrawl problems.

Right after I eat is the hardest time without doubt.

One thing I've noticed is that all ejuice is sweet. All of it. I think that VG and PG must both start out sweet, even with no flavoring, so it simply isn't possible to get any flavor that doesn't leave a sweet aftertaste. I don't like sweet stuff, so for me, that is certainly not a good thing.

I'm using 24 mg fluid, for now. Once I get completely off the cigs, I'd like to move that down. I've considered getting some higher nic juice just for after meals, when I have the strong cravings for a regular cig. I'm not sure that would do it, but my hope would be that a higher nic would let me feel satisfied with the vaping right after a meal.

Best way to strengthen it and keep good flavor is to mix it with the same, similar, or goes-with-anything higher nicotine juice.

A couple of goes-with-anything would be a good sweet vanilla (which can also be used to fix any fruit or dessert flavor you don't care for or even sweeten a tobacco), a good plain tobacco (even the Chinese Dekang PG juices like DK-TAB or USA-Mix etc).

And remember - if by "not enough" you mean the TH, VG dulls TH and flavor, PG lets them through (as well as letting through nicotine's irritation better). It is even possible that PG may let through nicotine's physical effects better or quicker since it obviously seems to provide better contact with the membranes in your mouth and throat - we don't know. PG vapor is what hospitals use to deliver drugs by inhalation.

Something else to keep in mind. New vapers may find some flavor/aroma types leave them satisfied while other types might leave them with analog cravings. Pay attention to which flavors leave you antsy and unsatisfied and avoid those type of flavors for now. I could not vape food flavors when I first started - to me it felt like snacking and gave me a craving for an analog. Some other new vapers can't vape tobacco flavors because they are reminded of cigarettes and that makes them want one. Some can vape anything.

Interesting dormouse...I did not know that VG lessens the TH. I'm concerned about PG liquid though- are there any health concerns with PG juice in comparison to VG? Thanks!

Good luck to you!! I think that cutting down from 3 packs a day to 1/4-1/2 a pack is really great. Keep it up.

I enjoy 18mg. I first started on 32mg and weened down to 18mg. I used to be a heavy chain smoker and nothing was doing it till i had 32mg. I ordered 60ml bottles each order and weened down 2mg of nicotine each new order. This helps your body adjust to the lower dosage with time. Now I am at 18mg and quite used to it. I pretty much used the same method that nicotine patches use. Which is to slowly step you down with smaller dosage. I feel this is a effective and much less effort than mixing your sauces. You could just let that 18mg batch you have steep till your body is adjusted to the lower levels.

How often did you lower the nic content? Every month, every six months, every year? I'm thinking about dropping it from 24mg to 18mg in a month or so. We'll see as it's only been less than a week for me. LOL

I started with an XHALE 02, and now im using a GP ECO. I started the ECO about 5 months ago, and didn't start weening since about 3 months ago. Well i weened down about every 2 weeks. That is about how often that i order new sauce. At the moment i only use candy cane, and i love it. I also have 60ml of 16mg on my door step hopefully tomorrow! I am most likely going to stop there. i feel much better now that im at a lower dosage.

KEEP ON VAPING HOMIE! your life will be much better without cigarettes!
