1962 Pocket Transistor Radio mod. :-)

OK, here she is, all done. Transistor Radio mod. Originally manufactured around 1962.
The radio doesn't work so I gutted it but left the thumb switch/volume button and the tuner.
I mounted an LED under the board to the thumb switch so you can turn the led off or on when you hit the fire button.
(LED lights up the tuning dial)
18gauge solid copper wire used for mounting everything.
I tested it with a .4 dual coil 24gauge setup. Chain vaped it for about 10 minutes and nothing got warm or hot.

Where do ya think "Cargo Pants" began? :) All I remember calling them was transistor radio's. All hot summer long and after we went to bed we could listen to the end of the ball game with the earphone plugged in and we thought are parents didn't know. Next morning they'd ask who won the game and sure enough we'd open our mouths! Everybody laughed! Summer Baseball with your transistor radio! Great times!
