1st attempt at DIY

well after weeks of reading the stickys and a few of the blogs I decided to give DIY E-juice a try.
1st test sample was a 5ml test 60/40 20mg nic, 10% apple candy from TPA. Mixxed everything up and added bout 3 drops to my 510 atty. Can taste the apple for sure. But before I add more flavor gonna let this steep a week and report back.
One complainted the small vials of TPA makes it a pain to draw out .5ml of flavor, without tilting the vial grrrrrrrrrr

Most fruit mixes don't need steeping. Try 15% on the apple & see if that's better. As for the little flavoring bottles. Try these.....

I picked up a couple of what is listed above at Sam's Club Pharmacy. They were like .23. Good luck to you in your DIY'ing. There are so many good threads on here to read and learn. I have been making my own for a while now and find it so much fun and actually better than what I have bought. I love the gourmet flavors and super concentrated flavors at vaping Zone. The are really strong so you use so much less and to me it seems cheaper. (I'm frugal) I have also used the Watkins flavorings sold at Walmart and have been pleased. Just make sure your flavorings are in pg or alcohol and nothing funky. Don't hesitate to ask questions because there is always someone that is willing to help you on your journey. That's why I just love the folk here. Good luck to you. Look forward to reading and trying some of your recipes.

agreed. In fact, there are some juices like TPA kiwi or dragon raspberry that taste best straight after mixing and start sucking by the end of the week

that apple candy is really good. I go anywhere between 10 and 15 percent when i use it alone. its one of the few flavors i like just the way it is.

The glucose syrup in the vanilla will really do a number on your coils, I would think?

gave my apple candy a try, nice candy apple taste along with a weird metallic taste. Either I need to reduce the flavoring to 5% or add some EM to the mix. I added a couple of drops of EM will do another test in a couple of days.
