At lower wattages, this had a bit of a split personality. There was a definite hint of an unfocused citrus tone, but also a clear background note that reminded me of shoe polish. Pushing it towards 45W it all came together really well, an excellent citrus taste that was neither predominantly lemon or lime with a full, juicy mouthfeel like a Starburst candy. The EM and VS took care of any unpleasant bitterness, and I didn't discern any throat hit until I went up to 50W. Even then, it was barely perceptible. To get the best from this vape I had to keep the wick really wet, otherwise the citrus flavour quickly burnt off at higher temperatures. This suggests if it is left on the shelf too long the fruit flavours will fade.

With a 20C ambient, I didn't need to steep this sample. Another very light vape, the SA didn't have the same jucyness in the mouth as #19. The apple reminded me of the chewy pieces of sticky burnt apple you get in an apple crumble, but not unpleasant or artificial by any means. The first four ingredients didn't jump out at me at all, the SA is definitely the Alpha male in this recipe. This vape worked best at a lower wattage, higher up the scale it became much denser at the cost of flavour. There was the slightest hint of something floral occasionally, which I just couldn't quite put my finger on when chain vaping.

Aroma very much one of chocolate with a hint of orange. This mix is a very good example of how temperature, coiling, wick saturation and the atomiser used dramatically affects your vape experience. On a cold Hadaly at 38W, my first throatful was quite harsh, even going up to 50W. As my Dpro was in cleaning rotation, I tried it out on the Nano Wasp as a comparison, which managed to tame the harshness a lot as well. At this point, it was hard to tell which flavour dominated, sometimes the orange took the lead, sometimes the chocolate aftertaste was the lasting impression. Once the Hadaly warmed up, both flavours seemed to balance out at above 42W, and the harshness disappeared. The marshmallow is a great compliment and gave this vape lots of body. What struck me was the vast difference in flavours between the two atomisers, the Hadaly seems much more focussed and less forgiving than the Wasp. This could be down to the vapour from the Hadaly directly hitting your tongue, whereas the Wasp fills more of your mouth.

There are some bruising flavours out there, and CFB is clearly one of them. No matter what wattage or atty I tried, the Banana Cream and Graham Cracker refused to show up. The CFB is mellow and rich, and unless the Blood Orange was the culprit, in these 5ml sample tests so far, it wins on chocolate smoothness. There was a slight throat hit on a cold atty, but this soon disappeared. The Wasp revealed some different notes, nothing I could pin down as a specific taste, more an extra dimension. The Halady at the end of session was revealing the same as well. The Wasp, all in all, was a much creamier experience overall. What was clear though, is CFB is potentially the best chocolate in my collection so far, but it may well just be that the Dairy Milk was conspiring to hide any deficiencies.

RDA recoiled/rewicked

Mild aroma of coconut and banana. Lots of cloud even at 38W, but no real flavour. Just a hint of banana flavour at 42W, like the hard banana sweets I had as a child. 46W and the mouthfeel is really beginning to fluff out, 48W dense clouds with a slightly more prominent banana with a hint of something else. At 50W there was no real improvement in flavour, but the vape was beginning to get a bit "scratchy" on the back of my throat, but not what you could describe as harsh. The lasting impression was not so much flavour as texture, while the banana showed up it was not dominant, just a subtle enough hint to be identified as such. The CB and CC were definitely sulking. I'm putting the mouthfeel down to the Butter Cream, which, all told, gave this vape most of its personality.

Different aroma from #32, more like banana and marzipan. Something in the mix was crushing the banana, it was desperately trying to get out and didn't come into focus until 48W. An ingredient (or ingredients) were fighting to grab my attention, but rather than talk flavour, they preferred to yell harshness. Considering the ingredients that were used, it was nothing that a decent steep wouldn't tone down and mellow out. A very good example of how even a subtle change to a recipe can totally modify the characteristic of a fairly extrovert flavour like banana. The offending culprit(s) were hard to pin down, it could be the pistachio or the bavarian cream, I'd have expected the yellow cake to be rawer, rather harsher but it might just be my taste buds.

My apologies @dc99 for not reviewing this as quickly as I promised, it has been a hectic week. I've had to use the measurement 0.01g = 0.1ml, 1ml is the lowest measurement I have syringe wise.

I rolled out the Dpro Mini for this, with a new SS coil and rayon nicely bedded in with 80/20. The strawberry is definitely there straightaway, and the VBIC gives a good touch of body to the vape. The CGC appears harsh at first, and this IMO needs a steep to tame it. Chain vaping I managed to take the edge off it, but by this time the strawberry was beginning to diminish, leaving a cloudy vape.

It gets better with a good steep as most cheesecakes do. Takes a little time for the graham to come through also
