So after a couple hundred $ into my journey, I believe my first package is lost in transit.
Ordered a few things from an ECF vendor, and they got it shipped out the next day (Sept 5) after ordering. Great!

USPS Tracking shows it leaving XXXXX, NY on Sept 6.........and that's it. Nothing.
That is the last time it was scanned as of right now. I called USPS today, gave them tracking number and they said they will "investigate" and call back. (No response yet, but will update tomorrow afternoon)
It was 1-3 day shipping with a delivery date of Sept. 10th.

How do these thing usually work out? What else can I do? I release it's not the vendor's vault so I haven't contacted them just yet.
I order all kinds of stuff online outside of vaping, but this is the first time that I can remember it's happened to me.

Any insight guys and gals?

Check with your local post office, and then check the shipping address you gave to the vendor. Usually if it's taken this long there's an issue with the address, and the package will get returned to the vendor and they can reship it.

I ship a few thousand packages with the USPS every year, and invariably the ones that don't get there have some sort of address issue, or the mail man just plain old messes up and delivers it to the wrong place.

A few weeks ago I had a Priority Mail package drop off the scan for about 5 days. It turned up in Puerto Rico. It finally got here about 8 days late. And there was no address problem. Since the Postal Service cutbacks the service is getting spotty.

I had another package show as sorted at MY local PO. Then it disappeared for 4 days and no one could tell me where it was. It was finally delivered. I have no faith in the Post Office anymore.

Just checked my order on the vendor website and address is indeed correct.
It's not delivered to the wrong spot, because it hasn't even checked into another facility, much less out for delivery or delivered.

I guess I will contact the vendor and see if they have better luck locating it. I will wait till Monday till I start seeing red though, that would be 10 days in shipping.

Had a limited edition piece in the order too...:(

You're not alone! I'm still waiting for my package from a New York vendor that shipped on 9/5 also! The tracking stops on 9/6 with the last location at the hub in Melville, NY! I'm in Texas too! Wonder where our orders ended up.....

Maybe a truck got a flat tire in BFE, and hasn't gotten it changed yet...

the PO is not that great at updating that tracking info, so you can't really go by that... I've had tracking show it is still in tim-buck-too, then that same day it shows up in my mailbox! and I believe that "tracking" numbers are really just a confirmation that the package was shipped...
