Hi there, first off I did order a Prosmoke e cig , and have been using it for just over 3 weeks now. Like all newbies I read many posts, and watched my share of informative videos on e cigs. Im glad I got involved, because I havent purchases an anolog pack of smoke since....Ive projected the financial savings by switching to e cigs, but really I was tired of having that rasp in my chest, not to mention the lack of energy.
I read tons on the Prosmoke, and for a smaller e cig, its fine.....i found the flavoured carts that came with it, only lasted for an equiv of maybe 5-6 ciggarettes...... so I thought, im gonna just buy some e juice and drip a few drops into a spent cart, and it vaped much better. .im in Edmonton, and e liquids are only sold with zero nicotine....I know this quitting is a process, but i do know i still need some nicotine.....I did place an order with Halo for some e liquid (with nicotine), but the postal service messed up and it hasnt arrived yet.

I started looking at another e cig device which will give me more satisfaction, and so far i feel the Joye Ego-T might be the anser. Most of the reviews on this tank system seem positive.....however I do have some questions.

-Some suppliers have the EGO-T model, but not Joye name.....is this an issue?

-Is the Low Resistance attomizer better, and are they available...how often do i need to replace the attomizer?

I appreciate any feedback and advice on this model....thanks in advance............Dave

New to vaping as well.

- Authorized distributors of Joyetech can be found here.
- I recently bought 1.8, 2.4, and 2.8 ohm atomizers for my Vivi Nova Mini tank, but have only tried the 1.8. According to Mr. Ohm, varying the resistance (at a fixed voltage) will result in a proportionally varying current. Lower the resistance, you increase the current. This current change will effect the vaping experience in terms of taste, rate of going through juice, 'throat hit', etc. Long story short, subjectivity plays a large role. The general consensus seems to be monthy replacements of the atomizer. Note, this varies of course on usage.

I would say if you are going to spend the money, go with a variable voltage like the ego c twist. This will give you the option of voltage from 3.2-4.8 in .2 increments. Definitely a great buy for the money. They can be found in most places for around $20. Also pick up an atomizer of some sort. You will get better juice distribution than prefilled cartos. I prefer the vivi nova tank system. I found the heads to last about 2 weeks, and replacement heads are only around $3.

I consider myself still a newbie but have been off anologs (reg smokes) for about 6-8 months. We started with the most "basic" ego-t kits and found within a month that they were "fine" but just weren't super great for someone coming off cigarettes. I suggest starting with the ego-c twist they give you different voltage so you can decide what is "strong" enough for you, in addition you get a lot of cartomizer/atomizer/clearomizer options that work great with the battery. Just treat it gently, my suggestion get a case or neck lanyard to hold it, if you drop them i promise you'll be ...... because it will break.. lol.
