Blu is my first e-cig.
1. The batts seem to last a good run.
2. The refills are BAD, about 15-25 puffs not as stated 60-80 puffs.
3. Build qulity excellent.
4. Price and shipping price good.
5. Shipping time HORRIBLE.
6. Service NOT GOOD AT ALL.
7. Hits are weak.

I order the 510 as everyone else has and will soon see the differnce.Going to keep Blu for batts and back up.

If you refill the carts, you might find that your blu actually performs really, really well for such a tiny e-cig.

The biggest problem with the blu is that they decided to trade performance for convenience, with the whole foil-sealed-cart thing-- easy to use, but the foil and plastic get in the way of the atomizer wick and the liquid doesn't want to move. Since I emptied the carts and started refilling them myself, I've been getting pretty terrific-- and consistent-- vapor production, and when the vapor finally does taper off and I check the cart, I find it's almost totally dry.

Also, today I noticed that if I cover two of the four holes in the atomizer with my fingers while drawing, it's harder to draw (obviously), but I get a freakin' ATOMIC CLOUD of vapor. However, I don't plan to do it much, because I assume it's probably not good for the atomizer.

I did order some liquid and plan on stuffing the carts with the tea bags to try that. But still Blu was not what I expected at all.

I haven't tried it myself, but I have to think that the tea bag mod would be pretty superfluous with blu's carts, since they're so small. I've been getting really good wicking using both the original cart filler (I just wash them and dry them with a paper towel) and standard polyfill. By the time vapor starts to drop off and I check the cart, it's pretty much empty.

What was it specifically about the blu that didn't meet your expectations? I think my own expectations must have been really low, because I have very few complaints for the money I laid out. [EDIT: sorry, forgot to check your first post again. I think if you try refilling the cartridges like I've been doing, you will be much happier with the hit strength and the cart longevity. Or maybe I'm just the lucky guy who got the only blu kit that seems to work. :)]
