Yea come along Fit! It will be my first time at one too.

Theres a thread on it here with the details.

I also emailed some gta vapers i've met that don't know about these, so hopefully they can come too.

ya I saw the thread! I'll certainly try my best, probably won't be able to stay too late though.. live in Milton, and I work in St. Catharines, so early morning for me :(

I think I got a buddy that I'm trying to convert too! actually he was the dude that introduced me to the ecig last year, but never followed up with it

So not fair, I wish I lived closer :(
Viecs calls the Riva a toprol ego, in the new members section there is a thread about it, just got mine, works awesome it's supposed to be pretty much the same as the Janty ego etc. price is $69.99 best price in canada :) Sorry to plug one company but I have had great customer service from Corey and fast shipping and have been very happy so I personally recommend (FYI: I am not affiliated with this company in anyway just happy with them:))

So I've been communicating back and forth with Jack from HV and he's been amazing! I'm going to visit him this Saturday actually to pick up my first Kit, here's what I'll be getting:

1 Happy eGo starter kit
1 extra eGo atty cover (to match 2nd coloured eGo)
1 Happy eGo carrying case
1 5-pack 510 carto's (blank)
1 Sampler Pack 5 x 3 ml
2 Packs (30 pads) of alcohol rubbing pads
1 Pack x 4 3ml syringes

I may also get a one of the stainless steel Super-T T-tips for easier dripping..

Once I get a little more accustomed with the PV, I will be ordering some nicjuice (maybe in a week or 2). Have I covered the basis here to get a good start? am I missing anything?

Very good start! The eGo starter kit is what I have too. The drip tips are a MUST for dripping. Those things rock.

Plus you got some carto's to try out which is good also, I just got some recently myself.

You'll be very happy with that order. The only challenge now is finding a juice that you really enjoy! :)

I really have to Thank you and Bornagainst too! you guys steered me in the right direction as this seemed pretty intimidating at first... I've read through so much already and feel there's still SOOO much more to learn...

I think at this point I'm thinking aestheically what will look better?? ie. what colour drip tip should I get if it was the anoidzed ones? what colour carto would I get? etc.. etc... I'm deciding on SS, Black, White or Titanium... for the eGo kit.. they all seem really nice

I'm glad I helped! BA has been a huge help to me starting out too, as with most of the canucks here.

There certainly is a ton of info out there, we sure are lucky that all these people have done most of the trial and error for us! lol

All a matter of choice really on colours, I see Jack rocks the entire SS set. Me personally, I like the black battery/cone with the SS tip (think it looks neat with the separated sections of steel/black/steel/black/steel)

Nice thing is the batteries and cones are fairly cheap, so can always get a collection of colours if you want! :D

ya thanks again man... really appreciate it.. if all goes well I will certainly want to come out to that meet in a couple of weeks..

That's a good combo, but IF you weren't using the SS tip, the carts are typically what or black right? for the SS I'm concerned with seeing scratches, the colours more of the chipping of the paint

Also, been reading up on how these batteries don't actually output the 3.7V ... it's more at 3.0-3.1V ... I'm looking waaaaaaaaay too much into this aren't I?

Definitely, it will be my first meet too, hope to see you there.

Correct, Black or White carts. I can speak for what I have concerning wear & tear...

The whole thing goes in my pocket often with change/keys, rolls around my desk, dropped once or twice... So far the SS tip has some barely noticeable scuffs but nothing bad. The black is a rubbery type of material, almost like a worn eraser, no chips/scratches on there whatsoever! Quite a durable thing this black one seems to be.

Also correct, it's been said that these aren't EXACTLY 3.7, but honestly.. it's great to start with. If you want a hotter/heavier hit that the higher volts give, grab a Low Resistance atty from Jack as well. That simulates a 5volt vape (still getting used to it! i was a light smoker and this packs a hit!).

are you talking about the cart, atty or battery in terms of hodling up ok? or the whole thing in general? I'm assuming the battery and atty cover will be the same type of material?

ya, I will be picking up 1 LR atty and 1 regular atty to see the difference and get an idea on longevity alone... I'm anxious to get this and looking forward to possibly getting either the Mega Atty/battery/cart and/or a good automatic PV

Everything has held up fine in relatively rough conditions. The cone/battery are both the same material and they are pretty great, the rubbery-ness really helps it from slipping out of your hand by accident and is pretty scratch resistant.

I picked up the Mega Battery, damn thing lasts me like 2 days!! lol

I'm totally picking up the mega atty and cart to try soon.

so far I can't complain! great battery life, well one of batteries has an issue with it, but will be meeting up with Jack this weekend to swap.. I actually like the carto's... much more consistent vape over dripping. I don't really like the regular carts that come with it as that filler material seems to flake off easily...

have my first order of nicjuice on the way, hopefully from what they say it will improve the TH... that's what I'm missing the most :( ... well that and the nicotine

I did pick up one LR atty from jack and a regular one just to try the difference. So yes, so far experience wise I like the TH/Vapour production while dripping with a LR atty. The TH could still be a lot better, but like you guys said hopefully the nicjuice will resolve that (and my cravings). I do find it uses a lot of juice though.. how many drips do you guys typically do with the LR attys without having it flooded? I do 2, and then I may have 6-8 pulls from it before I get that burnt taste... is that normal?

LR attys will take a TON more juice. I put 3 drops on it, vape til its done, and repeat. And I repeat often.

When you blow out your atty, you WILL see lots of juice, as it dries around the atomizer coil.

Wait until you vape high VG juice, the stuff you blow out looks NASTY.

I haven't dripped with the regular atty yet so I guess I can't say for sure it takes up WAY MORE juice... just seems like a lot.. but vaping on a LR and regular atty is a huge difference IMO.. I'm debating on trying VG but heard the TH is even worse :(

if I can make it to the meet next week maybe one of you guys will have some VG I could try? :p
