Well its been 2 1/2 months since my gf and i started ecigs. We started with a Halo g6 and loved it and figured we saved so much that we should treat ourselves to the provaris. Satin black with blue and Chrome with Blue. I think I ordered the correct adaptor to make our Halo G6 cartomizers work with it since we stocked up pretty well with those and they havent let us down yet. I will have to do my research on tank systems and stuff since we are failry new to it and figuring out correct settings on provari for the g6 carts. Loving the e cig, its like a new hobby with so many delicious flavors and gadgets out there.

If anyone happens to have a provari and using the Halo G6 carts feel free to let me know what settings work best for you. I tried searching and i didnt really find the answer i was looking for. And with a tank system is it 1 tank per flavor? That i havent googled yet but figured id add it in here.

Provaris where shipped yesterday cant wait!!!

A good starting point for voltage on a Provari is to just add 2 to the atty/cart resistance.
For example if the atty/cart resistance is 2.5 ohms then start at 4.5 volts and go up or down from there. And the calculated wattage for this is ((4.5 X 4.5) / 2.5) = 8.1 watts. Not Bad.
Works Every Time.

Nice job getting the Provari so early, you are way ahead of the pack.
You will like it.

I did the exact same thing you are doing. To use up the cartos from halo I went from 4.5 to about 5.0 depending on the flavor. That seems like the sweet spot for theirs. Hopefully the adapter is correct, they are relatively common throughout the community.

I love alot of their flavors that I now buy for my tanks with self punched cartos. I would recommend tanks for the next mod if you try more things or expand.

Congrats. You will love the Provari. The correct voltage will be whatever you think gives you the best flavor. The info above is a great starting point. Adjust to taste from there.

As far as tanks it depends on which ones you are talking about. If you are talking about cartomizer tanks then what I do is go with a single flavor until either I run out of that juice, in which case I pull the carto and recycle it away, rinse the tank under hot water and fill with new carto and juice, or If the carto is going bad then I syringe the juice back into the bottle from the tank, pull the carto, put a fresh one in and fill with a new juice.

If you are talking about tanks like the stardust that has those little wicks and no filler material then I pretty much stick with a single flavor for the life of the tank. Others try to clean them and do a dry burn but my experiece has been that some flavors you can swap in those type tanks and some flavors that will bleed over no matter what I try to do. So Ive just made the decision to just make those single flavor tanks.

sweet, i am sure we will enjoy them. we seem to enjoy having dif flavors during the day but that could be due to the halo battery dying as the day goes on and getting weaker. So we usually carry 2 with us each with a dif flavor. the tanks seem the best way to go. My gf isnt as savvy as me so it would need to be simple enough for her to use at work.

This is the adaptor we ordered for the halo g6 cartomizer fit on the provari from provape
510-901 adapter

This adapter will allow you to convert a 510 to 901.
These adapters are ideal for connecting any 510 thread/battery to a 901 atomizer! Also compatible as a 510 - kr808d1

Sounds like you have it under control, excellent choice on the provari and congrats to almost 3 months!
I use smoktech DCT 5-6 ml tank on my provari, also have a bolt thats kicked and i fill the tanks, usually, every other day. Im one of those people that likes.to switch flavors during the day so i usually have 2 mods and 2 flavors on hand at all times, lol.
Again, congrats to you guys, love the way you guys are giving yourself a reward, just keep at it;)

Sin69, you made a good choice. The Provari comes set at a default voltage of 4v. I vape Boge 3 ohm cartos at 4.2v and get great flavor. I try to find the point at which the vapor turns just a tad warm. I don't like a cool vape or a hot vape and that setting puts me where I like it.

It's all about flavor, vapor, and throat hit. I was an ultra-light smoker. If you smoked full flavor cigarettes, you might be one who cranks the voltage a little more. You will know when it's right. Up and down a couple of tenths at a time will let you find the sweet spot.
