i got my order of 808d xl 3Ω cartos. i use current gen manual regular and xl batteries from v4l. testing juice is taboo from liquidxpress.

i am very impressed with these cartos. they have great flavor and vapor. they are huge! over 50% the length of a regular sized 808d battery.

refilling seems like it will be more of a hassle than normal cartos, but the added capacity and overall vaping quality seem to balance it out. the adapter for the syringe bent a bit, but still works. i get the feeling that it will be more difficult to fill with a vg based juice.

i've only had these new cartos a few hours, but i think they are well worth it. assuming they last as long as the carts i'm used to, i will consider these the best. for reference, i never tried the 2.5Ω version and i have been using v4l's premium cartos and coolcarts/vapornine's turbos.

Are the 3 ohm suggested for use on a reg (680mah) Tornado/Riva?

I was so disappointed when i got my Tornado, and found the Mega cartos are plastic.......
Of course, by then it was too late....I had already boiled them with the Boges and they were melted.
:(
So far, the Boges are easy to clean, and fill with condom method, but arent working very well with the Tornado (no mods, both operating at whatever their normal resistance).
If the E2 XLs work,I would be ecstatic!

Thanks!

Finally got my 2.5's and 3.0's today (thanks for trying to get them to me by this past Sat), of course USPS sucks & COV rocks!

My thoughts, the differences I see comparing them to the last version (2.5) I received just a couple weeks ago:

1. It appears the coil is not wrapped as tight around the wick as the previous version release. Seems to work much better this way. Also looks as though it wicks a lot better than previous versions.

2. From what I saw earlier today the coils seem to heat up a lot faster (both 2.5 & 3.0), glows bright really quick.

3. I did a dry burn initially, nothing on the coil to burn off, so, No Bad Taste.

4. Included in the box is 5 tiny little pieces of filter looking stuff (which if needed, defeat the purpose of no filler) No instructions on what to do with them.

5. Only 1 DUD in the box of 5 - it will fire on nothing (I've tried just regular 510's, regular 901's, GG's, Chucks, Prodigy, Protege etc.... that one will not fire at all.

All in all, so far, I am very satisfied. I will wait to see what the coil looks like after the next refill. The earlier versions I have really "cruded up" very quickly. I am hoping the coil not being squeezing the bejee's out of the wick that it will help with that buildup. The juice I use is fairly dark, so, it may be something I'll just have to deal with.
