2.6-2.8 Ohm range?

Maybe I missed something here - sorry if I did, wouldn't be the first time.

But - what happened to the 2.6-2.8 range of Fluxos and Extremes? Don't see them on the site at all.

Not sure what RS/MiT is thinking this time. Seems like they had a Great Product. And then they went and had to Change It.

Yeah, it's hard to comprehend, unless they only what us to buy new stuff... But it still doesn't make that much sense - I mean we'd buy old stuff, new stuff, *any* stuff - gimme a break, we are *nerds*. LOL

Seriously, I really wish they'd develop new things while leaving things that work well alone until they die a natural death. I still mourn my beloved purple Fluxos in 2.6-2.8... And Extreme Regs - those were my favs. Now I'm in mortal terror for Stardusts. Doesn't pay to get attached to anything, does it - Buddhist industry.

What I find bemusing is how fast this is happening. Purple Fluxos would still be *new* by any other industry's standards - even computer industry. LOL

I can understand Any company wanting to come out with New Products. But the "I'll Bet the Entire Farm" on a New CE2 mentality baffles me.

What would have made More Sense is to come out with the "Latest and Greatest" CE2 and see how people like it. If people migrate to the New One then you phase out the Old CE2's. But If it Falls Flat On Its Face, well, you still have the Old CE2's making you Money.

RS/MiT sorta has the "3 Steps Forward and 2 Steps Back" Business Model. Unfortunately, sometimes it is "No Steps Forward and 2 Steps Back".

The ohm thing I think is a result of More and More people moving to VVPV's where Exact ohms aren’t as necessary. That and it's Easier to Manufacture and Simpler for Retails to stock.

Yeah they only have those two ohms now. They figured it covered the eGo range 2.4-2.6 and then 2.8-3.0. I think it would have been better 2.6-2.8, I agree.
