2 Cent Built In?

Does the short circuit protection in the ProVari act like (or superior to) the 2-cent safety fuse? I have a feeling the answer is yes, but i keep seeign this thing around and i have been just assuming that we are all set. but i just wanted to make sure.

From what I have heard and read, yes the Provari is protected against these kinds of problems. Should just kick back an error and or shut down the unit until the battery is replaced.

Yep, it detects overcurrent and thermal conditions, so does the same thing.
