Am I the only one who has such a concern for the lack of a vape, I constantly carry 2 mods. This becomes a burden on me (weight & volume). I carry 2 mods in case one dies by the off chance. Even when they are mech mods I carry 2 in case I make the mistake of losing a piece. A Dripper, an rta, 2 spare batteries and a bottle of juice. Just the one bottle if I am living on the edge! I remember when I just used to carry 20 benson and a light. Those were the days. Jk, I love to vape, never will turn back. But 2 of everything. Is that over the top?

At home I have more vape crap then 10 people could use in a lifetime.

But out and about I past the "back up" days. Todays gear is just to reliable plus I'm a long way from smoking if I can't have a vape in a reasonable period of time.

I do not perform any maintenance on the road. I also do not experiment. When I leave the house its with equipment that barring some disaster will get me home.

For general going out my SX Mini goes with me. This mod will never let me down. I trust it anywhere except work.

For work I need trustworthiness and a low price tag and low weight. I'm on my feet and them suckas get heavy over my shift. Its a rough place for mods and they get banged around alot and extreme temperature differences throughout the day. Lately its been a rotation of a VCT Mini and a CF4 as these mods are light, 100% rock solid and frankly cheap enough I won't cry myself to sleep if they break.

For a tank I only take RTA's out. If I ever have a failure I wanna be able to throw a beating to the ..... who built it.

I go to work with my Kanger Subox and a full Nautilus or Nautilus Mini. I also bring a spare 18650 battery. I am not worried if anything goes wrong with my setup as there is a good vape store near my office if I had an emergency.

When I travel on business I bring 2 mods with tanks, 4 batteries with charger and a couple bottles of juice.

When my band does a gig, I always bring two guitars as a malfunction would be a ton worse than not being able to vape for an hour or two.

Wow. I cant believe how popular this thread has become. How many pages can we get to? Just to encourage more discussion; To the guys who take loads of mods and toppers everywhere they go. When your going out to a pub/bar/club/party, do you still take more than two of each? Remember you've only got your pockets. Not vans, bags, satchels, toolkits and various other carrying devices.

With the trauma of the time I had plenty of smokes, but no fire etched indelibly in my mind, I take no chances. Add the desolation of very rural living and the options are few and far between. Hence, unless I am staying in town, always a back-up mod, a couple extra batteries, and at least 4 full tanks. I'm not sure what I'll do if I am going to be gone more then 24 hours! A small camera bag holds everything and works for me.

When I'm out and about for the day I'll usually take 2 units with spare batteries and juice for both - I'm a field tech so I practically live out of my car.

Though the other day I realized that I was at home, walking around with three units: wearing an eGo on a lanyard, ZMax in my pocket and Sigelei mini in my hand.

One on my person. One in each vehicle. One in the living room. One in the bedroom. One in the basement. One in the garage. One at work. A bottle of juice with each of those and spare 18650s and a charger in my primary vehicle. A charger upstairs, downstairs and in the basement at home. Plus other mods, devices, juices/DIY, cells and other supplies in my vape cabinet. I'm set, but I still buy more stuff.....

I don't think it's OTT.

I was a pipe smoker and always carried a loaded pipe in my pocket and a spare in my tobacco pouch. The pouch itself carried 2 ounces of flake tobacco, the spare pipe, some pipe cleaners, a pipe tool, and a spare packet of zippo flints. My Zippo lived also in my pocket. At work in my desk and in the side pocket of the car lived a tin of lighter fuel. I always also had a wad of tissues for mopping out my Falcon pipe.

Now I carry one charged iStick 30w with filled Nautilus mini, a 10 ml bottle of juice, a spare coil and a longer drip tip for vaping ( as a former pipe smoker I like a longer stem ) if I stop of for a coffee or a beer and as emergency back up I also have a charged Ego pen type cell in my Vaping pouch. That pouch also has some pipe cleaners for clearing out the drip tips.

Nothing really changes!
