Sanyo Eneloop instead of 14500? Another cheap mod?

Will Sanyo Eneloop AAs work instead of a 14500 battery? I am looking at getting a VV mod on the cheap and was thinking of the madvapes vv box mod with eneloops and was just wondering if this would work or if I have to shell out for some real 14500 batteries and charger?

I am mainly looking for a mod with batteries for about $70. I know about the vapage xl, but they are out of stock and need one before feb. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Yeah those aren't going to work... You need to stick with the 14500 and make sure they are protected batteries.

Get a pair of protected 14500s.

...2 14500s output 7.4v...those 2 AA Sanyos output 2.4v...what do you think...those batts won't even fire it...get some proper batts and a charger for it...should add less than 20bux to the total.........

You either want protected 14500's or the AW IMR ones (safe chemistry, somewhat shorter charge but hold the voltage up better and recommend for high drain stuff like LR)
