Got my new battery (purple on purple) and it's awesome...BUT...
it's a little "rattle-y" - the diamond tip, that is. I hope it doesn't come off.

It shouldn't be loose like that - maybe you should put a couple tiny drops of super-glue on it.

Oh my freaking goodness. I don't visit this thread for a week, and BLING happens! This is wonderful. I have too many ecigs as it is, but this is irresistible. I'm gonna need a purple/purple one for starters.

I can attest to the awesome metallic-ness of red, blue, purple and green. All of those are very deep colored and very metallic.

Someday, a turquoise one (like it looks in the picture) may be made. [/broken record, LOL]

If I order an XL starter kit, will it come with these new batteries???

Wingnutter, sorry, but probably not. The new XL's cost more than the other XL's. But you can always email customer support and ask.
I did just that, and lo and behold, the new kits will come with the new batteries!

Got my tracking numbers last night, should only be a couple days til theyre here! Whoo hoo!! :2cool:

Unfortunately, this is not the case. I apologize for any confusion or mis-information, but the kits do not come with Diamond Series batteries.

Do these new battys have the same charging problems the previous newest ones have. If don't know what I'm talking about, the newest battys before these seemingly had horrible charge lives because they would prematurely stop charging. It would greenlight much before reaching capacity. You would have to reset the charge cycle by unplugging and then replugging. It would then continue to charge for a long while. The battys would take 3 or even 4 charge cycles to get to full. I have 7 newer V4Ls that do this on all 5 of my V4L chargers. The older V4Ls I have don't exhibit this problem.

Anyway, I'm sure this has been covered and I'm not here to discuss this. Just want to know if these have that same problem.

Didn't think I'd EVER be happy with an auto but I got the XL Camo and XL black autos in the mail yesterday and could not be more thrilled!!!! Seriously great vaping without the worry of accidental button pushes in my pocket or when used as a bookmark.
Manual users really must try these!!!!

LOL. A bookmark?! That must be murder on the binding :)
I have used my traditional batteries as backscratchers and a stylus for my Archos 9 tablet PC.
The cz battery I ordered had a slightly loose jewel, which I was told is normal, so no using these gorgeous babies as a stylus I guess =P

I was told the slightly loose cz is NORMAL by customer support. Sometimes it takes mass users to work out all the final bugs, so if you rush to order version 1.0 just be prepared :) Their customer service is super, though, so I rushed!

Got my red with white bedazzled LED. I am NOT an auto kind of girl, but these blew my my flipflops off!
BTW the red looks fabulous with a gold carto!

The red looks incredible with a copper carto, too, and not too shabby with a black carto!:2cool:

I just ordered a black shortie to go with the black drip tip I ordered, so I'm thinking black or silver carto for that one. Rock on, V4L!

I've read that most of you who've gotten your new batteries are thrilled and was wondering... what is that you like so much? I generally use WOW carts on my batteries and COOL CARTS on my pass through. I feel the power on the passthrough is too much for the WOW carts and ends up tasting burny. I'm curious about what those of you who love the new batteries use, as well. Thanks!

What I liked at first was the look of them, with the bling, because I have hankered for a red unit with a red LED since I started ordering. What SOLD me on them, however, is the draw, so smooth and easy, and being auto, it more readily simulates my analog experience, which is what I have been looking for. No manual or auto batt I've tried previously has stood up to the comparison. And then, to seal the deal, I have two units; by alternating them out, I have to charge them ONCE a day. I think that is incredible, and has made my life so much simpler. Now, if they will show an acceptable amount of longevity before I have to replace them, I will be a fan for life. I'm a convert. :)

And I might mention, I've barely touched my PT since these beauties arrived. :vapor: I use cool carts almost exclusively, so I can't address performance of them specifically with a WOW carto. I find the WOW cartos to taste burny with all batterys and the PT, comparatively, so I'm no judge.
