2 piece 510 cartomizer thing- tastes like burning brass. what can i do to fix this?

I recently bought an epower that came with resurrectors and it works excellently. it also come with the strange 2 piece cartomizers. the problem is that they taste terrible. i want to use them to drip on but the taste reminds me of burning metal. i recall some sort of mod that i could do, but i cant remember what it is. i think it had something to do with the little wick thing. well my real question is.. what can i do to make it not taste so bad? thank you all

Blow it out,if it gets flooded it wont produce vapor like it should. And you can clean with alky or water and let dry and try again. Don't drip over 4 drops in the atomizer then puff until the vapor decreases and add maybe 3 more drops each time. The juice won't last very long and that is why most folks like cartomizers like the resurrectors or boge cartomizers, they last a lot longer before you need to a juice.

as far as I know there is no 2 piece cartomizer. a cartomizer is a one piece item that has a cart and atomizer together, hence "cartomizer" I think you got an atomizer (atty) and cartridge (cart) sometimes the attys have yuky primer fluid in them. blow out the atty (I use a drip tip and blow through that onto a tissue until tissue is no longer getting wet) then I think you are supposed to put a drop or two of liquid in the atty and vape some but not inhale. if I am wrong I am sure someone will be along shortly to correct me. anyway, that might be the problem

or, if you have blown out the atty, maybe it is too dry, add some drops to it

Just boiled my atty's for 2 hours and dried them out. the foul taste is gone.

Great now hopefully your back in business. I still don't like atty's to much money to buy replacements and as a chain vapor I would need to carry a bottle of juice around with me and take all my time dripping a few drops every few minutes. The atty's are good for testing a new e-juice to see it you like it and not wasting it in a cartomizer.

actually. only one does not taste badd the other is still terrible. im with you. im tired of them time to abandon them. i really like my resurrectors. i found what works for me.

Boge cartomizers work very well also, and for me personally I like the single coils carto's better that the Dual coil carto's, again that's just my opinion.

Boge cartos are unbeatable imo . To the op , there is no two piece carto . Thats a atty your talking about and your problem was that atties come new with tooling primer in it . Its like a oil from manufacturing that must be blown out before the first time using it . You also must vape it a couple times and not inhale to get all the primer out . Then it wont taste bad . I dont like attys because you drip a few drops in then take 5 pulls and all of a suddon you get a dry burning hit . Then put more drops and repeat . So annoying . I use them to test new juices . As far as the second piece which is the plastic cart .Not many people really use them at all .
