What's up coil junkies, after about 10ft of subpar coils today I hit the JACKPOT! Just got a roll of ribbon kanthal so I've been playing a lot...
What you will need is
3x 8in flat ribbon kanthal
2ft flat ribbon kanthal
Drill
And your normal tools.
First put your 3 peices of 8in ribbon in your drill And twist until right before it's starts knotting up, it will prolly break a few times at your pliers or drill (ribbon Is a pain) just keep twisting.
Then take that and put it in middle of the drill chuck and your 2ft of ribbon in side of drill (I had to fold end for chuck to catch it)
Now spin it slowly like a clapton but not so the ribbon is over lapping or touching each other just very very close lol.
Now wrap that into a micro/nano/macro coil and REAP the benefits!
I used a 2mm bit 5/4 wrap came to .4ohm this thing is crazy flavor and thick clouds for a single coil once coils are wrapped there should be bout .4mm gap between the ribbon you twisted and you can see the original wire which reminds me of a beaded chain...
BTW the ribbon I used was kanthal A1 .8x.1
Had it in my igoW with dual 3/32 air holes.
Wish my phone could take pictures you can actually see because it does look perty lol
