I've heard today from a very well qualified sparky that the plug converter from european to british is not at all safe. He also said that he wouldn't even have one in his house.

If this is true, and I'd like to hear others opinions about this, I wouldn't recharge while I was asleep.

Here's a photo

Blimey,

Well I don't really know, but what can go wrong with it exactly? I can't see how it would short.

That photo isn't a euro-adaptor though, it's a shaving socket. Unless they're the same thing, of course (I'm NOT a qualified electrician, obviously!)

I have charged my electric-toothbrush with one of those for years with no problems since I don't have a shaver socket in my bathroom.

Opinions anyone?
