2 weeks in and I'm pleasantly surprised

I have been smoking a pack a day for at least a decade. I figured I would never quit the sexy Marbs. I essentially accepted it as part of living. I reall did think they were yummy.

Well, I was wrong. I got my vape starter kit with the intention of quitting. I have been vaping faithfully for two weeks solid with great success. I have wanted a Marb but I haven't NEEDED one. I have been putting myself through the paces.

vape in the morning instead of smoking : Easy
Vape while drinking: Easier than I though (Awesome)
Vape after a stressful day: Not a problem

Here is the kicker, I figured I would put it to the real test.... Do I even like smokes anymore?

So, tonight I fired up a Marb and went "...., that thing tastes terrible" Sorry for my language but thats exactly what I thought/said. Not gonna lie that I am pleased and shocked. I fully expected to have an orgasmic "AHHHHHH gimme more" type moment when I took a hit from a Marb. Wasn't even close to that. I was super grossed out.

Thank you to everyone who gave me pointers when I asked question. I appreciate it way more than you know. I'm over the hump and won't be going back :)

Good vapes to everyone here,
JS

Congrats! It's really amazing isn't it?

I remember back when I would try to quit with gum. I would go as long as I could (which was never very long). When I would finally cave in and have a cigarette it was like, "ahhhh, nirvana!". So good. Such a relief. After getting my starter kit, I had vaped most of the first and second day, and felt pretty good (it was a little cigalike, so not super effective). I decided to light up a cigarette, as I had never really intended to quit. I absolutely did not believe ecigs would work for me. The cigarette was nasty, and there was not a bit of that nirvana feeling that I used to get after abstaining before. Completely shocking discovery! I haven't had or wanted a cigarette in the over 2.5 years since.

Yeah, I don't see the need to "test" myself. I will say when I am around smokers, it smells awful, so there is that.

Totally agree with this. Trying to quit without vaping before I always wanted to go back. Even the smell tempted me! Now it just smells terrible and burns my nose.

I always see it as let the smokers get their fix through a deadly method that smells like Satans junk, I'll get mine through a delicious and clean vape :D
