Ok, so I am analog free for 2 weeks now. However, I am starting to see some issues.
I actually catch myself wanting a regular analog more often now. Probably 5 or 6 times the past couple of days. The first week I didn't even want one at all.

Now to another problem. 2 weeks in and most of my flavors have, well, no flavor. I don't know if thats my tastebuds or me trying out these LR attys. I been using them for 2 days now. The only flavor that seems constant through out regular atty or LR atty has been atomic cinnacide. It is such a strong flavor of cinnamon that I don't think you could not taste it. But trying several other flavors, are really bland. Almost flavorless. Its like I am vaping water with a hint of something in it. I have several different tobacco flavors and they all almost taste the same to. Ever since I got the cinnacide flavor, the others have almost no flavor, even before I got the LR atty. Am I killing my tastebuds with this cinnamon or just what is the deal. I been trying to hit the tobacco flavors harder because that seems to be what I am craving but dang it, I can't taste them!
My nic level of my juice is 24-26mg. I have 1 that is at 36 but I dont think its the nic that I am craving. I think its just the tobacco.

My guess is that it is easier to stop in the beginning because of the excitement that you may have a viable option and then (likely much to your surprise) - like vaping. But old habits do not go away easily. Personally, I never tried to totally quit - I am weaning myself lower. A few days ago was down to 12, today probably 6 or 7. (Down from 1.5 pad plus).

As far as taste I know what you mean - I want much stronger flavor to counteract my desire for analogs. I likely am going to try Hunters Blend from Backwoods Brew. The reviews are that is a very robust flavor, much stronger than typical Virginia cured liquid.

I have seen where other people posted that after vaping the cinnamon flavors, their other flavors faded. It could be that the cinnamon is so strong it overwhelms your sense of taste for anything less pronounced (that'd be temorary). Also, our sense of taste seems to vary day by day. A juice which seemed tasteless on day may be great a few days later. Just a few thoughts.

Oh, and I've been smoke free for 9 months. Just today I spied a pack of my favorites behind a counter, and the thought crossed my mind to ask (just out of curiosity, of course) how much they cost. But, I got past the urge and hit the PV. Good luck, and ...

Your experience isn't unusual at all. First I'd hit that 36 mg when a really strong urge to have an analog hit you and wait 15 minutes to see if that helps. I actually think that one analog I did light up 7 out of my first 8 days helped as when I did attempt to smoke it I REALLY didn't like the taste and ended up putting them out before I'd finished and it helped show me I didn't want one as much as I "thought" I did . Not sure its the tobacco flavor you are craving but some of the other additives you got from your analogs that you're no longer getting.

AS far as the taste of your e-juice goes I didn't have a problem with no taste until after I passed 4 weeks but I was prepared for it to happen having read about it here on ECF so I made it through the day and was lucky enough to get my taste back the next day but it has happened a couple more times since. After using my CinnaBomb I do taste other flavors less for a while so lay off the cinnacide for a while and see if that does help you too taste the other flavors more.

Dooms, I still reach for analogs that aren't there. I've almost got 3 full months, and there are times that smoking looks so good on tv. It hit me the other day while watching a movie, that when Angelina Jolie lit a cigarette, it looked soooooo good. I thought that I just might try that again. Then reality hit me. I just don't want to do it anymore. I have burn holes in my clothes, by the bed where I'd be smoking in my sleep and dropping my analog, the house smells so much better, I'm not coughing except for allergies, I am breathing deeper than I have in a long time, I'm not wheezing.....I could go on and on. I've come too far to go back. I don't want to be a slave to tobacco anymore. I've not smoked a little over 18 cartons. That's a lot of cigarettes! That shocks me more than anything else. I was out of control. This has and is my only true chance and I'm not going back....I don't care how cool it looks on tv. So it comes down to commitment and how serious you are about it. I smoked for 42 years. Now I can circle the box asking if I smoke and say NO. That feels so good.

Only you can answer that question. Be honest with yourself. If you don't have that commitment, it's going to be a rocky road.:)

I have the Hunters Blend from BB. I bought almost all of their tobacco flavors. Just today, I have went through:
2 carts of RY4, 2 carts of 555, 2 carts of Maxboro, 2 carts of Hunters blend, 2 carts of applewood and 1 cart of cherry tobacco. I even did a cart of TW's M'Borough. Nothing. All the BB ones seem to taste almost the same to me right now. The TW one tastes like it did when I first got it, not good. Basically, the last 2-3 days, most of all my juices just dont have any flavor.

For me, vaping takes care of the hand to mouth fixation. No problems with that at all. My cravings right now are simply for tobacco taste and it is just not there for me now. The cinnacide tastes great but it doesn't help with the tobacco cravings that I am having. Even the 36mg apple that I have doesn't help either. I can taste the apple in it but even it seems much less in the apple flavor and that was my very first bottle.

I guess another possibility is to step up the nicotine level for a while and see if that helps.
Sound advice, IMO. But, if you go this route, don't buy a month's supply, unless you know how to cut it, in the event they juice you buy is over the tolerance level. If you do know how to dilute it, get some high grade ... try it, if it's too stout, cut it.

I smoked kinda tame cigarettes, but it took 36mg juice to kill my cravings.

I get the same sort of craving from time to time. It's been 5 months for me without an analog. I sometimes can't hardly even taste AC, or it won't taste right (kind of a burnt or chemical taste or just not right and I can't figure out what it is), but it goes away after a day or two. Or at least it's gone away so far, and i'm hoping it continues to be like that, or none of this happens again! I love not smoking, and vaping is awesome, but I think we all go through some bad days. Don't beat yourself up, and try to hang in there!

This is a really common problem in the beginning, the taste will go flat for a few days....it use to really spook me, but it always seemed to kick back in. You don't say what device you're using, so this may not apply, but I started with a 901 and found that using a PT with the more consistent voltage would help me with my cravings. I also carried around nicotiene lozenges the first few months for when the cravings got bad. The good news is, that with time, everything seemed to level out. At 10 months I have developed a sort of rhythm and vaping is now a part of my life in the same way smoking use to be.

I am using an eGO with both regular atty and LR atty. Most of my liquids are 70/30. Not sure what the backwoods brew ones are though. It does seem that I am able to taste a little bit more today. Yesterday was just horrible. everything tasted the same except for the cinnacide. I could at least taste that. But its still far from what it was just a few days ago. I also have regular 510's and tried it in them and the taste was still the same, nothing.

I've found the act of lighting an analog was part of my "hand to mouth" addiction. Ive managed to tough it out with lots of family support. I also use both attys, one with the Marlb cart and the other with a drip tip. I've found the dripping adds an action to help with the lighting fix. My taste buds are also healing as well as my gums, the gums get a bit soar from the rocess of not being baked on a regular basis, it's normal. You can do it, just think of the health benefits.

Try staying away from the cinnacide for a day or two, I hear that stuff kills tastebuds like scotch bonnet peppers. Speaking of which, stay away from spicy foods too. Your tastebuds are gonna be whacked for a period of time regardless, but staying away from the nuclear stuff will help them settle back in quicker.

I had to stop using AC because it wrecked my taste for other stuff. I like it occasionally now but never a lot or nothing else tastes like anything to me.
As far as the wanting a cig goes. This still happens to me occasionally. I usually use a higher nic for a while and it goes away pretty easily.
