Thanks for the info and I'll keep an eye out on the mega platinum series or maybe sign up for stock notification and give them a try.

As for the 801 fusions, I've heard nothing but good things about those cartos in the forum and other reviews. If they made a 501/801 adapter that was either flanged or as wide as the drip well on my Provari so that my tanks couldn't slide down over the adapter, I would be more inclined to give them a try. Since the difference between 801 and 510 really is just the connector, I'm hoping that they expand the fusion line to include a 510 connector product as well so we won't need adapters.

i think the diamond series is supposed to be the 510 version of the fusion tbh, they work amazingly well, generally though i don't use them in tanks because of the same reason, they give you that gap from the flange to the tank, so i understand, but i generally use them around the house when i don't feel like dripping, and if there is a tank involved, i just don't care at my house lol.

I haven't experienced a DOA. But I have had a two drawl and then burnt up the carto... hey these things are made in China, what do you expect? I use Boge LR XXL's 2.0ohm cartos on all my devices... Vmax, Zmax, ProVari.. love them.. you have to accept the fact that some times they will last a week and some times a few hours... it is the nature of this hobby.

unfortunately, lately the boge and the smoke tech cartos have been like this, i've even had a box where 4/5 where DOA,making me look for a new brand, i've finally settled on the ikenvape cartomizers....

since i've gone to ikenvape, i've not ever, NOT EVEN ONCE gotten a bad carto out of 8 boxes....get an adapter and try the 801 fusions (they will change your life i swear) and also the 510 diamond series....you won't be sorry, i promise

The problem w/US manufacturing is that they can't get up and running and off the ground in time---steve jobs found this out when he wanted to make scratch-free glass for his iphone. (read that saga). You have to *hit* things when they are still current......not after it has passed you by.

I see vaporers here *clamoring* for new and better stuff, and they want it fast.......and that fast part is happening in China. I agree that there is plenty of room for more thoughtful high tech stuff that can be developed and manufactured by the US, Brits and Canadians you mention. But it comes out slowly, and there are huge waiting lists when it does emerge, right?

I"ve heard that too. And also about the 808 bottom coils. But you would need adaptors.

I like Iken Vape 810s but as stated you cant count on them being in stalk. I use Smoktek 4.5 never had a bad one but not much good with an ego ether. I think something will come along that will blow everything out of the water. It will be something we never imagined.
Texas Select Vapor has Boge 801 fusions I like them also. I can relate to the origional post also I found something I really liked and stuck with it all of them;-)
