20 Gauge Kanthal

So I'm very experienced in ohms law and safety. I'm currently left dna 200less, hah, and have to revert back to dual 18650 parallel box. I love a solid dual 20 center post build. The only thing is it absolutely destroys center posts. I was just curious as if I'm the only one whose had this issue or if I'm being to rough on my authentic attys. Thanks in advance.

@TommyTsunami88 20AWG Kanthal will destroy any post! No, you're not the only one. I used to use 20AWG Kanthal until I found 22AWG Nichrome works just as well and is much softer. Plus, the heat up time and cool down time of 20AWG Kanthal is just insane. Takes a lot of power to heat that stuff, and quite some time to cool it off... but no, you aren't the only one. I've destroyed many a post screw to use 20AWG Kanthal - then again, I destroyed many a post screw to attempt to use 16AWG Kanthal as well.

I figured I wasn't the only one. Hah. I couldn't find anything online about people breaking center posts using 20. The bad thing is I can't do anything with nickel. So all the nichrome, anarchist, etc.
