20 year smoker no more!

I've managed to be the catalyst to help convert at least 8 of my family/friends over the last 9 months since I started vaping (most of them heavy long time smokers)...they would be intrigued by the smell of the vapor I was using at the time and start asking questions about it. I've gotten to where I have several different strengths of vapor and a couple of cheap set ups on hand so they can try it out without it costing them anything. So far every single one of them has taken off with it and never picked up the nasties again...in fact most of em can't stand the smell of death stick smoke anymore.

I love being able to tell smokers that vaping has saved my life and getting them to try it!

You my friend should be commended for your efforts! I myself never knew how good it would feel to help others quit all together, or make the switch to vaping. Congrats to you for encouraging and spreading awareness about this life saving miracle! I may pick up a few cheaper set ups myself so I can do the same. I do know a ton of smokers who are just lost. It's probably fair to say we've all been there. Keep on keeping on

Both of my girls even "recommend" flavors that I try...and now that I'm getting into the DIY, they are inventing recipes for me to try out (some are so far out there that I've put them on the shelf and hopefully they will never see the light of day lol)....now if they could just figure out how to clone my favorite vape....

Haha those girls of yours are awesome! I'm very new to vaping, but I love all the juice options just not sure, or quite ready to DIY. So hilarious they are coming up with recipes for you ha! Someday I will attempt to make my own.. until then I have been putting my trust and faith into MOV since I don't want anything "extra" in my juices. All the more reason to DIY.. just have no clue lol

Just curious and not trying to get off topic. What is your favorite flavor that you make yourself?

We made 6 flavors the other night...only 3 that I've tried so far. There's one called Summer Breeze which I really like (light and fruity), a Strawnana (Strawberry Banana--which happens to be my ADV) and a clone of Gambit (which is a caramel apple type). I've never had Gambit, so I can't say if what I made tastes anything like it or not, but it's good.

The others we made were kinda off the cuff--an almond coffee, a caramel raspberry (which I'm calling Carmberry), and Butterscotch Candy.

I did have to add a little more VG to mine last night since I figured out that I was getting a lil nic sick and it was kind of harsh. Since I did that it's much better! I'll just have to remember to adjust my base the next time.

I'm a serious Strawnana junkie....my local vape shop got me hooked. As soon as I get the recipe perfected, I'll share it with you. Right now it's too heavy on the banana- not enough Strawberry. My other ADV is Sweet Sookie from Dark Horse--kind of a melon blend. As soon as I get Cantaloupe ordered I'm going to start to figure out how to make it...cause I'm too cheap to pay $10 a bottle if I don't have to!

I've found that I vary my ratio kinda based on the flavor...I'm really weird though

You know, I'm experiencing that right now I believe. I am currently vaping a 50/50 at a lower wattage. That seems pretty good, but I am also enjoying a 70VG/30PG which I crank up the watts a bit and the flavor seems amazing! P.S. I'm weird too haha!

Yep...we are destined to be friends Us weirdos must stick together lol! I have favorites from 60p/40v, 50/50, 40/60 and 30/70 lol....wide variety....It'll be interesting to see what DIY base winds up being my favorite.
