It can be frustrating to keep 3 pairs married without a 4 bay charger, but it sounds as if (for you) the best solution may be to do it. I'd agree that it's frustrating, but for me it would be for a different reason, I don't want to cart around a 3 battery mod. Heck, with my style of vaping a two battery mod can be overkill, although I must say I do enjoy my endless battery life on some of my mods, but I personally have to draw the line somewhere. A third battery should really only cost between 4--8 dollars maximum.
If it was advertised by the vendor as being 2 battery capable and it's not, I'd say you may have a reasonable shot at a return, if it's really bothering you. One of those "why not at least ask" kind of moments, I guess.
