2010 Census

WOW lol, I just had allot of fun filling that out. Wish I wounded have sealed it. I cant stop . Some things I can remember I filled in, I did list myself as the one who primarily lives @ my address, but when it came to race I marked white and in the fill in boxes I add "with a splash of vodka".

Under my tribe I listed myself as an Autobot, witch I am! Cause I grew up under the command of Optimus Prime.

As a 2nd resident I listed Jesus Christ since I'm a Christan, and under 3rd resident I listed Satan Lucifer, cause hes always with me wanting me to do wrong.

Fill out your 2010 census its really fun. Plus if you didn't know not doing it is illegal.

You should have put your vapers tribe...duh...what were you thinking? If enough people respond with their vapers tribe...they may have to add it as an option next year

I just got mine. I think all I'm going to answer is my name and how many people live at my residence. I thought about listing my cats as well but I better not lol. I'm not giving them my telephone number I will put unlisted just like it is. I wonder if it's not filled out properly just what will they do. Lots of people are writing in to our paper saying they are just giving them a head count only. They don't need to know if I rent or own my dwelling or what nationality I am. None of their business!!!

I worked for the 1990 census as an editor of census forms. They use that info for a lot of things including figuring out how many kids they need to be prepared for in schools and how much staff they need for certain public services. People actually go thru and check to make sure all the info is clear and matches the rest of the form. The more you goof off with it, the longer it takes to go thru the info and many times they have to send a census taker out to fill out the form. All it does is increase the amount of time they have to pay someone to deal with your form. And we all pay those salaries with our taxes. It might not seem like it matters if I tell them that I rent, but if I need services from the Landlord/Tenant Association, I'd like them to have enough employees to deal with my problem. And that might not happen if they don't know how many people in the county rent. The census decides how many fireman and EMT are needed in an area. Tho, the good thing about silly answers to the questions is that it gives the people that are stuck reading them a good laugh.

And I'm not some pro government wacko, I just don't want to have to wait longer for an ambulance than is necessary or have my kids in overcrowded classrooms because people don't think the census is important enough for them to bother with.
