Well folks here are some build pix that may or may not be of any help to anyone- something to look at anyway. Please don't hate me too much fer me poor millin skilz, just have pity and send me one, I'll build you somethin if you do. Also don't blame me if bad stuf happens this is entirely unrecommended.
Let me start off by saying I am deeply indebted to Mr.DougDino for creating this brilliant and truly exceptional work of art!
This BB has given me hours of enjoyment and I am sure countless more to follow! More so than even my childhood legos.
Also had it not been that I was power hungry for mor-mahs I wouldn't have even done this, Doug's power regulation is superb. My original plan was to get 2250 mah, but as it turned out I was only able to get 2 of the 3 batts I planned on squeezed in =1500mah. This does do me quite well though as I can get through a whole work day without a batt change. 10 hrs 8.4W @4.7v with a 2.5 ohm coil and one completely topped off BB tank! I was shooting for some beer drinking time afterwords but it was probably just as well, as I have heard of at least one BB that was misplaced after such an occurrence (shudder). I plan (when time permits) to put that jewel into something else, I love that dial! I kind of miss seeing it in there already.
STEP 1- Gut yer BB, then sit back for a bit and ponder your life choices......
I apologize for not having any gut removal pictures here as I was not thinking clearly at the time, in fact I kept my eyes closed, it was that bad. Be sure to pull the board straight out!
Step 2- Rout out some o BB's 'luminatum. For the 20D to fit this has to be done. Depending on what you use for bats you may not have to get as aggressive in depth. I was going for three got two, but the extra space worked out well for the tact switches I used after all. Three bats would JUST fit behind the door, but with no room left for anything to cover them. Also the tact switches would have to be smaller and maybe moved up to the 20D bay. Possibly not needed, but while I was in there rootin-round I removed some material anywhere I thought I might route a wire – for extra clearance or rub protection. This was all being done by hand (no CNC atm) and being scary as all hell I wasn't going to go back in a second time. Most of the work can be accomplished with a dremel tool, except to remove luminum stuff from the bottom of the battery bay, on a drill press I used a big honkin 1/2” end mill bit with electrical tape piled up on it's sides- to keep it from chewing off BB's door slots, thru her sides and into my finners.

STEP 3- Build a cute little 20D spider, don't let yer cat see it

STEP 456789101112131415-Start mashin stuff in there and use colourful languages if you haven’t yet

The on-board DNA button has a has a very short throw so we made a copy of BB's fire button, and shaved some off the top so it sits about 1/16” below BB's outside face to prevent mrs-fires. Also took some off the inside of said button to give a bit of travel, and a notch cut out of the button for the DNA switch body to sit inside. DNA sits on some plastic shims to keep her up level.

Earlier I mentioned to some that I thought I may have a bit easier way of doing this, in retrospect I have come to the conclusion I haven't got a clue what the hell I was talking about.
Thanks fer watchin yall!
oh...and just for the record this was truly a labor of love, but I couldn't do it to anyone's BB!
THANKS AGAIN DD!! Yer da man!
