Here are some pix o the evod mod, more of a proof of concept than a finished job, I'll probably finish it when something stops working but for now this quick fix keeps on truckin.

Use the inside part from this fitting, this will become the (ground collar) for the coil- it is a bit hard to get out

Here the brass (ground collar) (with an air hole drilled into it) is mounted to the base of the coil along with a small o-ring to seal against the o-ring inside the tank. The collar on the coil needs to be cut down to easily fit inside the tank.

Installed into tank with a nano clearomiser tube (cut to length) the bottom of the nano tube is flat so it made for a nice fit to seal against the gasket on the coil. The coil can be removed from the bottom of the tank, leaving the tube in place.

Bottom view-note the shoulder of the (ground collar) is nearly flush with the bottom of the tank.

It seems these tubes are breakable, I was tyring to push it out from the bottom with a pen and this happened...be warned.

In my setup I put a wire through BB's original contact block for a ground wire and removed the gasket for the brass ground collar to sit in, so here is a shot o that....

...and a better shot...

k, so the dna currently doesn't use the body of the BB as the ground anymore as you ant' gettin your negative from the top of the carto that isn't there... sooo you have the two leads.. in your proposed permanent setup however, as long as that screw mounting the clip is nice and conductive, that would ground back to the body sooooo..... you could be free to remount that ground just about anywhere and not have to run it though the contact block at all right?

ps: i know a guy who could send you some contact blocks if ever you needed um'...

Hey thanks, I think I know who you're talking about!
But yes, exactly, I wasn't too sure where I was going to go with this in the end (throwin stuff at wall to see what stuck kinda thing) so I ran the ground to where I could get to it easy later on if needed. I should have, if I had stopped to think, ground the 20D to the body first and just screw that spring thing in contact with the body. I think I am just going to tuck the grnd under the block (touching the body)and fasten a spring/tab to that little brass collar that mounts to the coil bottom and let that make the ground from the body to the coil. But it works as is now so that may be awhile! I is lazy and I'd hafta make a spring...
