So I just got back from the gas station, paying inside for gas, and seeing an njoy ecigarette for 7 bucks. It was a disposable and I was bored so I bought it. Holy .... it hits so rough and has such an awful flavor even an American spirit black smoker would think these to be rough. The flavor was awful and the back said it had 4.5% nicotine... Sounds incorrect but... who knows. My question is why in the hell are gas station ecig companies TRYING to turn newbies off to ecigs. Why aren't better companies in gas stations yet? Even Blu is difficult to find a lot of times.

Well, I don't know. Some people on here say the NJoy Kings are great! I read they are 45mg nic, which is REALLY high! That should be enough to satisfy a cigarette smoker. Those also have PG in them which produces more throat hit, but also has a mediciney taste. Substandard PG maybe? I used PG juice from Volcano that did not have as much of that awful flavor! It looks to me they want to make a buck off of that s***! But honestly and sadly, if I had to, if all my equipment failed, all my juice ran out and I could get no more online, I would buy that before I would buy a pack of cigarettes  I think they know that and price accordingly. Also I think they want to lure in the new vapers and get maximum coin before the ones they lure in find better equipment and juice! IMHO, of course!

It's a vast right wing conspiracy... oops...
it's a vast big tobacco conspiracy.
The big three created the crappiest tasting ecigs ever. Once the average smoker tries it, party over, they're not likely to try another.
Bingo - fewer peeps quit smoking, big tobacco wins again.

Posted partly in jest but I wouldn't put it past them.

I still find it interesting that Lorillard (the third largest tobacco company) purchased Blu last year...:)

Think about it. Lorillard has been denied access to mainstream advertising for a long time, and now for the bargain basement price of just $135 million they have full access to media advertising.

Are u serious? What exactly do u mean by "hits rough"? I think we definitely have a different definition of what hitting rough would feel like. To me, that NJOY was the airiest airy Mc Air-berg thing Ive ever tried. It was (seriously, no jokes here) almost exactly like trying to suck air thru a drinking straw, and if you CAN taste anything at all then*maybe* someone left a granual of tobacco inside it a few days ago and it started to give off a microscopic amount of flavor. "Rough" would be something thatr was so powerful or irritating that I couldnt handle it.

Your example is what most of these stick battery models are like, including Njoy. However, Njoy's newest model, that the OP tried, does have a higher nic level which would hit harder. It's the only way these models with their puny batteries can provide a harder hit.

It's unfortunte that you can't find an ego style model in convenience stores.

And yet there are many, many people on this forum (many of whom have been vaping for years) who absolutely love the NJoy King. It spawned a huge thread here a year ago and is the reason there is now a disposable sub-forum. Everyone has different tastes and wants when it comes to PVs.

Interesting. Live and learn I suppose. I guess if the NJoy works for you great, but I suspect they didn't smoke the way I used to. That being said, I get it, you like what you like and it's all completely subjective...and, yes, Stephen Dorff does give me a slight man-crush.

I'm not necessarily a fan. I liked the NJoy King when I first used it, but lately I can no longer stomach the taste of carto-filler in any form. However, it is a great product for what it is. It looks and even feels like a real cigarette, and can be a great introductory product for many smokers looking to switch.

I'm not personally invested in the NJoy King. But I can see where it has it's place. And honestly, I think the word crap is thrown around too often around here, many times unfairly.

Because they want to make a buck the cheapest way possible

There are gas stations all around me that carry ego starter kits for $20 and they even sell juice.

Sweet i wish that was how it was here in NYC, freakin all i see in stores now is this new "E-Hookah" disposable. I bought one thinking hey, the flavor might not be so bad ... gah it sucked, what a waste of money. I love my VapeNY.com tshirt i wear now that says. "If it looks like a cigarette, your doing it wrong"

Before settling on the eGo t, I tried two disposables: Blu and EZCigarette. I also got involved with the ProSmoke. The Blu was horrible in the manner of a real cigarette with a hole ahead of the filter, but lasted much longer than the ProSmoke. The EZCigarette was actually quite good in all respects, except for the sea sick green color. Sadly, it doesn't seem widely distributed. It would be an excellent introduction to vaping.

The ProSmoke was great - sometimes. It ran out of juice quickly and the battery didn't hold a charge very long. Oh, both issues never happened at the same time. But for those problems I would be using it today.

Yeah some of the stores I speak of advertise them as a E-Hookah which is not accurate at all being these are the blister pack ego knock offs with a 650mAh battery a CE4 clearo and a usb charger. Same item can be bought for half the price online but it is nice to know in a pinch I could run down to the store not a mile from my house and grab one. :vapor:
