Just wanted to finally make a post, after a few weeks of lurking.
I've been a smoker for around 16 years on and off but on a constant basis for the last 12 or so. Went from full flavor to lights, to menthol lights.
Been wanting and trying to find ways to quit. I went down the gum/patch path with no success obviously.
I heard about herbal cigs, nasty and didn't give any pleasure whatsoever. Then I kept hearing about E-cigs. Even saw it in a few movies/shows etc. But just didn't give it a second thought since most everything else failed miserably. Then I started hearing more about it and talked to the wife a few times telling her I was thinking about at least trying one to see how it turned out.
Finally, one day the wife brings me a disposable from a local gas station/cig shop, it was a 21st century and I was somewhat excited to try it. Took the first draw, wow.. Not too bad actually, though the menthol taste of it wasn't like a smoke, I didn't really expect it to be but the throat hit, or rather slight throat hit kind of surprised me and I said. "Wow, not bad at all really, I think I'll do some more research".
So I went and bought an njoy npro because that's all that was available around here that I could see and saw that njoy was somewhat popular. It was quite a bit better than 21st century so I got to thinking... The first one wasn't too bad, second one was better.. Hell, I might as well research more and jump right in. So after about a full week of extreme researching(and I do mean extreme lol) I finally took the plunge and ordered an Ego starter kit, 7 pack of e-juice and a few Boge 510 cartos all from Puresmoker as their prices seemed very good and they were one of if not the closest to my area.
And yes, I said an Ego, just after a few weeks of research I could see from the majority of suggestions it was that or a normal 510 but I figured if I'm gonna be smoking quite a bit, it had to be something with great battery life.
Anyways, thanks for reading, hope I didn't bore you too badly. And I think it's awesome what you all have going here and how professional it is. I explored a few other e-cig forums but they just weren't for me. Too much cursing, spamage and just seemed overly wild for my taste. I like this chilled out but very informative community much better.
