I'm reading a lot of complaints that the door won't slide up with 22mm atties on top. Maybe I have a freak but my door goes up on the RM9 Vector and RM8 Derringer. Might have an extra thick coat of paint? How about yours.
Some do, some don't with mine. Notice in your pics that the door slides have some play in them. Thicker finishes (e.g., black wrinkle) on the door don't allow for it to get clear of the atty.
My black wrinkle door slides up fine, so does the aluminum. But its a no go with my hammertone. I think papa hit the nail on the head. My black wrinkle does it only cause about half the paint has chipped off..... Also the door may be a bit bent

I used to be able to slide the door up with my Derringer and it was a black wrinkle. I just figured the Derringer was a fraction of a mm smaller than 22mm.
I can't slide mine up with an Odin on my Reo. It just feeds my "hearing the click" addiction I have with my door haha. The only way I would get my door to slide up with the Odin on is if I pulled the top of the door to make it bend and pull it up.
