Unpainted door on REO Grand

Hello, fine Reo Family.

I'm simply curious about something and I wanted to ask here to satisfy that curiosity.

I have a 3 week old Silver Vein Grand that I bought new from Rob. The inside of the mod is also painted with the silver vein, but the inside of the door is not painted. I am curious if this is the case with all "veins"....maybe because the door wouldn't slide as easily if it were painted? Maybe mine is just special.

Anyone else have this type of door?

The doors on my red sparlkle grand and the Black wrinkle/white door grand, do not have paint inside the door HTH

I have two Reos, and neither of the inside doors are painted (one is a silver vein). Probably for the reason you mentioned

Jif...you were probably hoping for your special...huh?

Yep, doors of the powder coats are not painted on the inside. It is because the powder coat causes the doors to be too tight. Some of the powder coated finishes with more texture would really stick.

If Robert changed the groove to accommodate the powder coat then he would have problems with the anodized doors being too loose.
