Reynolds American 1Q profit falls more than 28 pct

The company said its R.J. Reynolds tobacco subsidiary sold 14.3 billion cigarettes, a decline of about 4 percent, compared with a estimated decline of about 3 percent for the industry as a whole.

Beware of an all out attack by those who rely on tobacco sales. And no, I do not mean Big tobacco. I mean those riding the tobacco gravy train. - The ANTZ must be panicky now, seeing their supply of easy, unearned money going down.

I swear the drop from @23% smokers in 2006-2009 to 18% now is from ecigs. CDC, et. al. have had goals for decades to reduce the no. of smokers and ecigs very likely has done it for them. sigh......

Nobody wants to be beaten at their own game - especially if they are hopelessly bad at it
And just think of all the wonderful money they are losing now.... awwwwww ... those cushy jobs.. for being completely ineffective... aaawwww...
