You'll go thru a period of... well... weirdness. That's as best as I can describe it. Some call it "smokers flu" - whatever. It passes. Don't be surprised if you start smelling things you don't care to, tasting things differently, and coughing up crud. Just part of the game.

Don't vape too much before going to bed, or you may wake up with a wicked sore throat and the gags. Drink plenty of water before you sleep. PG sucks moisture out of your mouth and throat.

Your lungs will eventually start to clear up too. This is where the "more energy" claims come in.

Hope this helps.

Hmmm. Two weeks tomorrow and I feel great. Vaping is way better than smoking. Smooth, cool 'n tasty. My nose feels more open. I've coughed up some crud, which is good. It could all be my imagination, but I feel better, without any nicfits. Patches, gum, lozenges? Nope. E-cigs? Yup. In my experience this is a total A-1 hit. I'm totally showing it off to people.

When your body detoxifies, you can feel "off" and have strange symptoms. It should pass.

But PG does metabolize into lactic acid inside the body as well, which may contribute to the fatigue feeling. But the longer you vape, the better it becomes.

This is all small potatoes compared to cancer & chemo.

Well, surprisingly I have always had a good sense of smell, even better than most non-smokers. I havent coughed up anything, but look forward to it, b/c then I know my lungs are cleaning themselves. I know it's gonna take time. I havent had dry throat, but Im just vaping a bit, putting it down for a bit, kinda like the frequency of when I smoked cigarettes (a pack a day) I've been on medium mostly, then switching to low or no nic. I dont want to overdose, I read alot on how that is complete hell.

I hat to brag, but for me the transition was one of the easiest things ever.

Stick it out, it's totally worth it.
I will stick it out no doubt, I went to my friends b-day party and smoked my ecig and drank st sebastians (brewed by monks) with my ecig with friends I work with and some I never met. I have the black dse901 w/ blue led and totally think I got some people who are willing to smoke the clean smoke. It was fairly easy to drink and only crave my ecigs. I did take a few drags of of some cloves, but mostly used my ecig, everyone was very interested in it and noticed that would be a better way of life... Im a bit buzzed right now from my ale, but atleast I know it can be easy to have an attractive gadget and drink without smoking analogs. More when Im sober, b/c Ill just ramble on and on when I got a buzz. gnite all.

Monks brew alcohol? :?:

I've been using the e-cig for 9 days now and the last 2 without any analog cigs (YaY go me!) but oh yes....the fatigue. Mine is more like I will all a sudden get very tired and can barely keep my eyes open! Granted my life is hectic with a busy schedule but I've never experienced this "tiredness" before. I think it's just the body adjusting to the big change.

Good luck to you!

See there? You're already talking like an ex-smoker! :thumb::thumb::thumb:
Thats b/c I am Dr Phil.
Also, I just want to note: I made the transition from Skydancer light 100s which are from an american indian tribe and 100% natural tobacco so it was easy to quit analogs completely with the ecig.
*And* I honestly did not think I was going to quit analogs completely when I got my ecig. I had no idea of my willpower.
Monks brew alcohol? :?:
Yes they do
yep sounds normal to me. i also tend to get anxiety and depression (which leads to lethargy for me). i'll be quitting analogs as soon as i get my order in soon. can't wait :)
Good Luck with that and let us know how that goes :) I know how painful it is to wait.
I suffered fatique attacks for several weeks after stopping analogs. Then they just went away.
Day 3 and luckily, I feel more energetic and like myself. Hopefully it will last. I even want to go to Yoga today :)
Is that the medical term for it then, Dr Phil? :D

Crikey, I've been suffering from that condition for years...
Condition of Weirdness, mee too! You people have no idea...8-o LOL

I know exactly what you mean. I quit analogs and started vaping a little over a week ago. I feel so lazy and un-motivated. I'm normally a very energetic and active person. I lift and run three times a week. The running seems to be getting easier. I just have no motivation. I'm an avid gamer and Halo Reach Beta just was released. I DON'T WANT TO PLAY IT! Now that's weird. All I've been doing is surfin' these forums and looking at all the vapor product i want to buy. HA!

-slip ;)
