How does the Premium 555 compare to the regular? I have a Premium tobacco Sampler on the way, but am afraid of the 555 after having just tried the regular version.

I apologize to all the 555 lovers out there, but it tastes like ash and the dry dirt you'd find under a house to me. I get none of the nuttiness.

Looking forward to others though!

*gasp*

Take that back now!

:)

heh heh....I love the dirty, nutty, analoggy flavor I am getting. it's even helped with the morning analog cravings.

I have some premiums coming this week, so I will post my findings then.

I never tried the regular 555- the premium carts were my first go at them. I absolutely love them. Problem is, I don't know if that smoothness I'm getting is due to the premium carts, or the 555 flavor itself! Either way, I'm hooked.

Still getting used to the snap though. The crackle isn't so bad, but I'm not sure I like the snap. It's unnerving. :sneaky:

Whats the taste you get out of em Stacy ? Nuttiness ? Cashews ? I know you said smoothnes ... Aftertaste-undertone flavor?

Well, at the risk of uprooting the phrase "taste is subjective", I have to admit, I never understood the "nutty" reference- towards any flavor! I just don't taste nuts. (insert cheeky phrase here...lol)

When I said smooth tobacco, I actually meant it feels nice and smooth when vaping it...not only as reference to flavor. The taste is..not too light, even though I have 8mg...(some say that makes a difference. For example, I tried the 8mg regular Cowboy's, and the flavor was good, but lacking as compared to higher strengths. I'm convinced that the "premium" cartomizers have alleviated this problem, however. The 0mg Dunhall premiums I ordered were packed with flavor- comparable to 18mg regular Hilton's I had once tried!)

...sorry, got off track. Ahem. The 555's I find are not too light, not to heavy, as in scratch-your-throat like a hearty tobacco analog would-heavy. A tad bit "sweet", even? but sugary by no means. Less pungent than a Hilton cart, if you've ever tried them. At first I thought the taste was similar, but the more I vaped it, the more I noticed the difference.

I wish I could describe it better Ken, sorry! If you're a tobacco flavor fan, then I'm sure you will enjoy it very much. That is the advice I received before I tried it, and folks were right. Get some. :D

I love the 555 med juice. I vape it all day. I have to say when I got the premium cartos I was really disappointed. The vapor and draw and all that rock! The taste was so different from what I'm used to. I haven't had 555 in reg cartos. to compare cartos to cartos, just had the juice. I've tried the high version of 555 juice though and there was a big taste difference there too. Not unvapable though. The premium 555 is unvapable to me. Has a lot of ashtray taste in it... or at least that's what I'm getting. Not the smooth slightly sweet 555 I love. Thank god they restocked the med 555 juice!!!! I really didn't want to get on here and bash the premium 555 ... just figured if someone else didn't like them they shouldn't scrap 555 all together.

Oh and Brandnew.. if you're looking for a juice without any sweetness I think the 555 premium is about as close as you're going to get ;)

I have to admit, the tobacco flavors are probably the hardest ones to get "right." I didn't have samples of the previous batches for all of them to compare to, couldn't find most of the brands of the real cigs locally either to compare for myself or to provide to them as samples (and they would be the chinese versions if I could which aren't the same as the ones back home), and I've never been a tobacco flavor fan to begin with, so I didn't have personal knowledge of all of them.

I pretty much had to trust the flavor engineers on some of them.

But, besides looking at new hardware manufacturers, we're also looking at new liquid manufacturers, so nothing is set in stone just yet. And all of your comments are being noted for next time. I do now have samples of all of the flavors from this batch, and will use them to keep the flavors people love the same, and to improve the flavors people don't. From here on out, they will only get better and better. :thumb:

Thanks Leaford... I also know that the flavor I prefer may not be the same for the masses. So it's something where if it changes it changes. I'll cope. Just give me a heads up so I can't stock up on the old juice ;)

Why wait for a heads up? If you like it stock up! Hope for the best, but plan for the worst, and all that, right? ;)

I am so bummed. I have tried many flavors now and I really really really want to love them.I have put them aside hoping to come back to it later and really like them.

But I just cant get past the perfume taste or smell. I'll just keep trying now and then I guess because it has to be just ME.

On the other hand I LOVE the equipment and my Christmas and Birthday list is already started for family and friends from V4L:)
