I got tired of waiting for Super-T to release the Shockwave, and for Cisco to release the Helix, so I built 26650 box mod. Nothing advanced or fancy here, just a very simple box mod. I used a 2 C cell battery box, connector, and switch from madvapes and the 26650 battery from AvidVaper. I gutted most of internals of the battery box and had to grind the inside of the cover and under the battery in order to get it to fit. Battery fits nicely in my Pila and Shekor chargers. Just completed it this evening so I have no idea how long the battery will last.

Nice work. Very clean and simple. Are you thinking making it a juice feeder down the road?

Thanks. There is certainly room to make it a juice feeder and I may do that. I drip, and with my other mods, I can palm it in my left hand and use the same hand to unscrew and hold the cap from a juice bottle while I drip into the atty. This thing is so big, you can't do that. With this, you put it down, unscrew the bottle cap, put the cap down, drip, put the cap back on, then vape. I may look for a slimmer, longer box for it.

It ain't just battery life, it's the initial loaded volts that was the most pleasant surprise.

That's what I was hoping for. As far as battery life, we will see. Since a 2900 mAh AW 18650 lasts me 5-6 hours of my normal vaping, this one should last me 8-9 hours. I put them back on the charger at about 3.8v.
