My sense of smell already started coming back and I've been stuck enduring the horrible odor of my wife's smoking, now I know what all those non-smokers were talking about when they referenced the foul smell of cigarettes.

I'm trying to get my wife vaping but she's having trouble getting used to the evod , she keeps trying to hit it like a cig and ends up choking on the vape, and when she tried to take the battery off to charge it she accidently took the whle base off and the juice poured out so she's having a bad experience with it so far, but I'm still trying to get her straight.

Exact same deal here! My first starter kit came with two complete setups and I PIF'd her one of them. She still smokes and rarely uses it...takes her like a week or two to go through 2ml of juice (and a carton or two!). I thought that seeing her going into the garage all the time to smoke (we love our kids) and smelling them on her when she returned could possibly "trigger" me to want one....that'd be a big ole Negative Ghost Rider!!!

Tomorrow should be a fun day, usps tracking claims my mvp v2 will be here ... not my 1st vapemail, but certainly one I'm excited about.

Right on! I got tired of barely missing out on winning one after putting in weeks on the contest threads, found a killer deal on a MVP2 Shine for $39.99 with free shipping and just ordered it a couple of hours ago!! :rickroll:

I wasn't worried that the smell of them would make me want one, I just didn't honestly realize how bad they smelled after 25+ years of smoking. I think the evod tanks hold around 1.6ml and the only reason it's been refilled since she's had it is because of her spilling it out accidentally. Hopefully she'll get used to it and drop the cigs but only time will tell.

Have you noticed when you are in a public place, just standing in line, or shopping...You can smell the smokers? blech. I smelled like that for 40 years. 40. FORTY. That stench clings to everything and everyone around you. Me and the man friend have been together for almost 12 years. He is a staunch non-smoker. I mean millitant. He never nagged me. But was adamant that I never smoke in his car. Or in the same room as him. Now that I vape I can vape in his car, in his garage, in his presence. Made me realize that the guy was either bat-..... crazy...or just crazy about me to put up with my smoking. Now when I make that "holy crap that stinks" face he says..."See? I told you!" That smell when someone first lights up a cigarette? I really thought that would be a trigger.....the only thing it triggers is my gag reflex. Keep tryin with your ladies, guys. They are worth it. I promise.

I didn't get free shipping so mine came to around $43, I haven't seen a contest for one but if I do I'm going to enter it :)

I only notice it when I'm really close to it, and I have too many friends that smoke to ever get completely away from them, but luckily every single thing I thought might end up being a trigger to want one hasn't been, I actually have a half empty pack sitting here in front of me on the desk, I kind of like the non burning tobacco scent lingering from it. I've heard a few people talking about the mvp not being portable enough for them so I'll have to judge that one for myself, but for the features and the way I already used these evods , I know I'm going to love the mvp.

I have a 30w box mod so my mvp 2 doesn't see much action. When I first started, all I wanted was a mvp. And they are great! I probably would have went back to smoking if it wasn't for my mvp

Right! I can smell that stink rooms away. Sometimes when my dog is around my mother in law I can smell the rank smell as soon as she enters the room.
When my wife complains about me vaping /tinkering with vape gear I always threaten to smoke again (she doesn't smoke or vape), she ALWAYS calls my bluff. Says go ahead and try. She saw my reaction to trying to smoke a cigarette 3 months into vaping, immediate gagging!

I haven't met a mod that's jean pocket friendly yet! Little 350mah ego? Nope bends at the connection. Unless you where a lanyard or holster of some sort (or use your wife's purse like I don't :D), even cigalikes are prone to breaking in pocket, a PV isn't the most portable thing

The evod clone I have is pretty sturdy, almost always in my pocket but being similar to a pen I could see it eventually getting broken, but the mvp is a box, I doubt it'll be jean pocket friendly at all especially if there's a tank on it... however, in the winter I know it'll fit nicely in the inside pocket of every coat I have :)

Ohh I know, I'll start wearing a fanny pack to carry it in....

Mag light holsters would work great for sure, I bet I can find a similar tool type holster that will work with the mvp, I'll have to do a little searching and see what I come up with.

Just checked usps tracking page for the last time tonight before I head to bed... BOTH packages I'm waiting for are at the local sorting hub, so if they're really close to being here.

Good Knight All , I'll be back in 6-8, maybe 12 hours....
