I honestly do not know why they keep continuing to break, maybe its something I am doing wrong.. I was just vaping on my second X2 and BAM no more vapor. I thought maybe it just wasn't charged but I double checked and fully charged, still lighting up but not working. Tried other clearomizers and still no luck. Maybe some liquid leaked through onto the top of the battery? Would that possibly cause it? Ordered a 3rd and some T3's that should be here tomorrow. I really hope 3rd battery is the charm.

^^

Other than that, I do enjoy the ecig.. I just can't believe I went through 2 batteries in less than 2 weeks.

Sidenote, I did try calling them a few times with no luck of a answer or response after I left a voicemail explaining my problem. Hoping I can get a replacement :(

Unlike most vendors, SI warranttees are good for 90 days. As long as it is not caused by juice leaking in, you have a good chance they will replace it for you. If you leave an online ticket, they will get back to you within 2 business days. I am sure they are swamped with holiday orders, but they have been really good for me.

If you are using autos, you might have better luck with a manual x2.

Good luck.

This is what makes me glad i went with the manual x2. so far 3 of the 5 CE3's i got with it have leaked all over my battery. It is really starting to make me wonder about there QC. They all had less than 5 refills. Hopefully the t3's will be better once they get here.

Overall SI's QC has been good. As many others have noted, including myself, there seems to have been a bad batch of CE3's that came out.

As far as the T3 goes, it hasn't leaked yet and I've actively been trying to make it leak by laying it in every conceivable position I can. So far so good.

All I've encountered so far on the T3 is a mystery gurgling sound that went away after a bit. Had me worried because when my X2 clearos gurgle it means I'm going to have a spot of juice on the battery contact. Not so with the T3.

From a hardware perspective, CE3 versus T3 should be night and day. The CE3 is effectively $2 a piece, and are meant to be disposable. The plastic tube is pretty soft. For $2, frankly I am amazed at its innards. I had 2 die prematurely. Coinsidentally, they were my first 2, so I will never be sure if it is QC or me. The next one to go, was mostly because of taste. Even after dry burning multiple times, I couldn't quite clean the coils. I had damaged the wicks too. I got my money's worth on it. #4 & #5 are still going well.... but I might retire them soon, in favor of the T3.

The x2 clearos have been great. One leaks a tad, but as long as I wipe it every fill, or battery switch, it is never more than a drop.

I prefer the manuals myself now, but I might I would not be afraid to use an auto... The key is to be careful filling and handling.

Based on what's been said, we can't know for sure what caused the death of the OP's x2's. If the batteries still light up, I actually doubt they are dead.... maybe bad clearos, or needing adjustment to the battery posts.

I am happy with SI's quality so far... I really like the warrantee. It proves they stand behind their products. Most others are DOA only.
