I am soooo bummed.
My manual black x2 900 just failed on me. It was fully charged and working fine, and all of a sudden, no vapor. Still lights up when button is pressed. I've maintained it well, but cleaned it carefully anyway, no change. I tried a every clearo, nothing. On my other x2 & spinner, they work fine.

I loved this battery. I even tried messing with the post. Murphy's law, I ordered it on 11/26, so I am out of warrantee, by a few days, even assuming the clock starts on receipt.

While I think I tried everything, anyone have any ideas?

I was hoping I would get a year or more out of this thing, since I usually charge every other day.

Sorry you are having problems with it so soon. Try it with the endcap removed. Also the battery post may have been pushed down by screwing a clearo/carto on too tight. Cleaning with alcohol around the battery post and threads could help.

If nothing works, contact SI's customer service. Even if the warranty period is past, they may be able to offer other suggestions.

No cleaning will help.
You need to take the battery apart and re solder the wire going to the center post from the inside. It's either disconnected from the board or from the post.

I'm afraid you are correct... I got rid of my soldering iron 10 years ago.... I always ended up messing things up.

CS got back to me, they tried, but no dice.... I guess I'll be making an order when the new color spinners are stocked.
