I just got an svd 2.0. I want to extend the battery life (800 mah aw350)so it will last me a day at a place I won't be doing much vaping. (Fair or some other function). Would higher resistance resulting in lower watts be the ticket ? I'm not concerned with vapor production as much as I am with flavor production just want my quick nic fix and move on. For the most part I've always been subohm. If it helps I'd like to toss the goblin mini on it prefer dual coil.

Sure :)

Honestly I would get a lemo or STM and go single coil. With dual in a goblin the airflow will overwhelm the heat being produced.

What size wire do you have?
I've got the Lemo, taifun gt2 and tfv4 for single coil tanks then a bunch of dual coil tanks. I could try the Lemo

To extend battery life, one will need standard resistance and low wattage or volts, depending on how you look at it. Build a 1.8 ohm coil using 32 gauge Kanthal. It will last forever. Dual coils require more power to get a decent vape off of.

Grab a normal toothpick. Do a 5/4 wrap and your looking at 1.8. Using a DNA 40 at 8.5 watts it will last all week for a normal vaper.

No skill required unless you are looking to win a coil building beauty contest. What I like to do, it to spin the 32 gauge on a drill to temper it.

Just for fun I made a 2.5mm 0.6x0.1mm 2ohm build in a STM.

The svd has the Dna 20. 22watts is still too high. I'm looking to fire around 10watts maybe. I should have been more specific. Thank you though.

DNA20 does not have "step down", so if you want to do what you're asking you would need at least 2.5 ohms. Otherwise it may be to hot until you knock the top off the charge. +2.5 ohms vapes pretty good at -10 watts if the air flow is tight enough.

The DNA 20 DOES have step down. It's actually one of the first to do so.

Scroll to about 26:40 that's about where the tests are composed for the step down. It is from pbrusardo and a link to his review is directly from the manufacturers website.

The innoken chip, while made by evolv, is very different than the old DNA20.

Care to elaborate a bit more than just to say it's "very" different ? As far as I'm concerned the DNA 20 made by evolv is the DNA 20 evolv chip no matter what way you slice and dice. I could not find any other versions of this chip. If innokin made it then it wouldn't be an evolv chip. And the box clearly states several times over that it's an American made evolv chip.
