I have a question for all of you Spade/Laser/and whatever else mod uses a 10440 battery.

Does the 10440 battery vape any differently than the other 3.7 volt models ~ say for example a 510 or a KR808 or is it preferable just because it has a battery that is more readily available?

If there is a noticeable difference, how does it compare as far as vapor production and throat hit?

Also, is the 18650 interchangeable w/the 10440 in any of these?

I've heard from multiple sources the standard 510 is not a 3.7v device, it resides around the 3.0-3.1 neighborhood. I can only assume the rest of the standard issue minis are of similar output, but I also cannot confirm that part.

As far as TH/vapor, the vapor production should certainly increase, but as with most any PV device, the vapor, throat hit, and overall experience depend on your juice heavily. The primary idea behind higher voltage, however is to produce more vapor, yes, and more vapor would lead to a stronger throat hit, provided all juices were equal.

unsure

Would that be true using a LR atty? Im using the eGo with a LR atty and the same juice I used with my old 510. The vapor and TH is more now. Ill soon be getting a Mr. Puffer which uses a Li-Ion 14500 3.7V 900mAh batt. does that mean I'll need HV juice?

Well to my knowledge, the LR atties are designed to act as if they're vaping at 5v, at 3.7v. Quite a few people swear by them, and I've not heard one thing about needing HV juice, then again, I've not actually heard of HV juice at all. Not to say it doesn't exist, but I'm still waiting on my chuck, so.. the world of higher-voltage vaping is still out of my reach.

Anyways, the basic line on LR's is that they're designed to work with 3.7v PV's to achieve optimum performance.
