Sometimes its nice to be able to dial in, or use heads with different ohm ratings effectively. 3.7 is really perfect for 1.8~ ohm heads which arent on every device. There is also all sorts of rebuildables out there, and wrapping your own coils, and all that fancy stuff that those little regulated devices just arent designed for.

Also when you set your VV to a voltage, thats what you get. Most devices dont put out a constant voltage through the cycle

I use a 1.8 head on mine. also find it produces more vapor then my vv

Seriously, I doubt the VV circuitry was the cause of that. Maybe a weak battery, maybe the VV dial wasn't placed onto the device *accurately*, maybe just a dirty 510 connection. Most people advise moving UP to a VV device from a fixed voltage one because, when it's all said and done they are more a like than they are different. The VV addition just lets you turn the voltage up or down from what the battery input is. Some models, and even specific, individual units may have some QC issues or something that throws them off but VV in a twist/spinner style battery is pretty well proven (and liked) example of the technology.

It all depends on the watts, which dictates what vapour you get. The watts increase when the voltage increases or the ohms decrease.

For a perfect vape, either your ohms must be suited to your fixed voltage, or you get a vv or vw, and make the battery suited to the ohms.

So its perfectly plausible that youre satisfied with a standard battery, as a mizer with the correct ohms will be perfect on it

this is true. I tried a 2.4 ohm on the vv n felt something was missing so I went back to the 1.8 even when I use the vv I leave it on I just wont dare go over 4.2 volts

Once I discovered vv, there was no turning back for me. I discovered that each juice seems to have its sweet spot on the voltage dial (for any given atty or carto). I could also dial in huge clouds of vapor when I wanted them or dial it back. If I want 3.5/3.7v, then I just slap the voltmeter on and dial it in. Choice is good.

I started a year ago with an eGo-c, and just like you, was quite satisfied with the vape.

Got into a co-op and lavatube. (now have many more vv devices) and, like you, I am finding that overall, my sweet spot is a 1.8 to 2.0 ohm coil with the Vivi at 3.7 volts!

Thing is, as others are stating, overall it is the wattage that gives the vape/satisfaction. (for me) the juice can also make a difference in where I set things, and even what delivery system is used.

Like I have a vanilla cupcake mix, that tastes bland with a 1.8ohm single coil at 3.7volts. I put it in a DCT at 3.0 ohms, and kick it up to 5 volts, and it's an all day vape for me. YET, a smore flavor, (chocolate) tastes nasty in a 3ohm dual coil. Put that in a 1.8 ohm dual coil, and 4.2 volts, and THAT is now an all day vape.

IMO different juices, can be really brought to life (or death) via variable voltages, and using different ohm's.

If you stick with one flavor, or basic style, then you may be just fine with out vv. BUT if you love experimenting with different flavors, and making more of a fun hobby of this (especially if you get into DIY) the VV is the way to go for sure.

Either way, if YOU are happy with the vape of a 3.7 standard device. STICK with it!!! If it keeps you happy, and off analogs, that is what matters.

thanks for the reply. i mostly vape a tabacco flavor i notice when at 4 volts its fine but when i go higher it will start to taste kind of burnt.. i dont pass 4.1 which is the highest ill go. but i what i cant under stand is why i get more vapor out of my 3.7 then vv?

All in all vv is great. I make my own coils for my t3 and aga-t, and with vv / vw, it doesnt matter much how the ohms turn out. At least on the t3.

1,8 ohms @ 3,7 volts = (v x v) / ohms = 7,6 watts. Thats actually great. I vape my aga around that.

So if you like 7,6 watts, and you can find 1,8 ohm versions of the mizers you like, vv shouldnt be nescessary.

......when that is said, its still nice with a battery which delivers the same voltage / wattage until its drained
