Also, one thing to keep in mind is that unless I am mistaken the Riva does not actually run at 3.7 volts.
I believe that although it is a 3.7 volt battery it only runs at about 3.2 volts under load.

When I moved up from a 3.2 volt battery to a true 3.7 volt battery I noticed a big difference.

But I don't like 5 volts and definitely don't like 6 volts, too hot for me.
But then I like to take big, long drags.
:)

Just a reminder to everyone that if you're using a button then you already have a control device. At the moment, I'm using a 5V PT with a 2.8 ohm E2 that I've removed the plugs from. I can only hit the button for about one second on a four second draw or else the vape is to hot to suit me. If I change over to my ego battery, I just hold the button about three seconds on a four second draw. Same results, just a difference in the length of time I'm holding the button.

I'd also like to mention that the 5V PT is a good way to check out higher voltage vaping for anyone who doesn't mind dealing with the cord. I have a convinent plug in for it about anywhere in the house, and a adapter for the auto. Saves my batts a ton. The nice thing about the E2 is that I can vape three or four drops at a time around the house, or load it up with twenty or more drops for driving and out and about. Just my $.02.

Hi, Jackoboy!
Since you are from the UK, I thought that I might mention two mods that are made in the UK and while not VV mods, can take a variety of batteries for 3.7, 5, or 6v vaping. They are the Mako, and the Megalodon. In the US, they are available from electronicstix.com. I do not know the UK supplier, but I do know that there is one.

I just bought a Megalodon, and so far am quite pleased with it. The Mako is just a wee bit less expensive, but does not have quite the same versatility. Still, it can be equipped with different batteries for different voltages.

If you are that new (like I am) then take your time and use what you have got. Save the money and buy different juices. Find your personal sweet spot. There is always time in the future for new gear. I find myself with the same questions - should I buy, etc. Save your money for a bit. Learn more.

New obsessions can really drag you down, don't go there. Let that feeling pass. The grass is always greener and some such crap.

I have seen pass throughs that go far as little as 17 dollars or so at Madvapes if you want to experiment on the cheap. Surely, you could find an equivalent in the UK.

Good luck...

i probably could..............it'll be a few months before i look into other things any ways, want a bit of a return on these first. as for experimenting with flavours i've tried about 15 already, some i love and some are ok. im thinking of getting unflavoured stuff and mixing my own flavours to see what i can come up with

yeah it does but the silver bullet is quite pricey in comparison to other things out there, i thing i'd go for the provari if i was spending that much. although for now i wont rule out anything, a pass through, box mod, LG sidewinder, GGTB are all cheaper and more or less do the same thing...............for something that im just curious about im not sure if i want to pay so much for.............but we will see :)
