1.7ohm Resurrectors from Boge or 1.7ohm smoktek pre-punched 1 or two holes with an IBTanked or Phiniac tank. Massive vapor production, more taste than a Vivi Nova and no worry about juices cracking tanks.

I wouldnt recommend a dual coil with 3.7 volt devices, you dont have enough power to take advantage of it. 1.7ohm on a 3.7 volt device is pretty close to the sweet spot for a lot of vapers.

Smoktech single coil 1.7 to 2.0 ohm. I use the XL size in stainless steel.

Incidentally, the "Resurrector" is a Smoktech 1.7 ohm single coil XL, not a Boge. It's called a "Resurrector" only by one vendor: CCV. It's a marketing thing.

I use both 1.7 and 2.0 ohm. 2.0 when I want a cooler vape, 1.7 when I want warmer. Both are excellent. I purchase them from either Hoosier or 310vapers. No problems with these at all during the last year.

Tons of tanks are around to fit XL cartos which you can buy pre-punched. Hoosier has a wide selection of these Smoktech pre-punched tank cartos with two or three holes. Carto tanks, too. The three-hole cartos are used with more viscous juices that have a high VG percentage mix.

I like cartos. Big flavor and vapor, simple, don't leak, cheap.

Thanks for the clarification guys.Learn something new every day.Ive only been using Smoktek 1.7's for over a rear now but didnt know they were called Resurrectors.

I go with more holes for higher VG juices...as far as tanks go Id still go with Pyrex over plastic or polypropylene...better taste, longer life and zero fear about leeching or cracking with certain juices.Would you rather drink your favorite mixed drink out of glass or a plastic cup?

I agree with 1.7ohm single coils from SmokTech. Also, you could look into some clearos. Flavor and vapor from carto to clearo can be different and you'll get people swearing by both. I just like the functionality of clearos so much better. Easier to fill, clean and swap flavors. If you go the clearo rout, I recommend Vision Vivi Novas, or Vision Mini Vivi Novas (for ego sized batteries) with 1.8ohm heads.

I switched from Smoktek dual coils to their single coils, which I now prefer. Recently tried Ikenvape cartos, and I believe I like them even more. Strictly a carto tank person here for the better flavor.

For more details, including links to vendors that offer pre-punched cartomizers for tanks, click on my blog entries under my avatar.

Tks for the inputs! Question: for cartos, how does one know when to replace it? And for tanks... wats out there that has no leakage issues?
You will notice the pull or draw will become increasingly stiffer and there will be a flavor drop off. This will happen sooner if you are using darker colored juices or of a heavier vg ratio. What eventually happens is the polyfill becomes clogged with the unvapable particles that is in e-juice.

There's nothing finer than the first several draws off of a fresh carto in a tank bathed in your favorite juice.

The only tank that I ever had that leaked was my very first Smoktech DCT tank that had a polycarbonate tube. The tube somehow warped out of shape and leaked juice because of poor contact between the tube and endcap. I suspect most leaking tank issues originate from the cartomizer and poor user technique.

It can be easy to flood a carto if you don't adjust your vaping technique. Slow long gentle draws are best. Hard and short draws can pull too much juice into the carto and flood it.

Some carto brands are notorious to flood easily. Too many or too large of punched holes in the carto can cause flooding. Allowing juice to get into the air hole while filling a carto from the top can cause flooding (put a wooden tooth pic in the air hole to block juice).

Inserting a prepped carto all the way into the tank, and then putting the top cap on a full tank of juice can cause flooding. Always fill the tank with both endcaps on and the carto only partially inserted.

All of the above are all poor technique, user-error related issues.

Worn out or torn o-rings can cause a tank to leak. The top edge of the cartomizer can cause damage to the silicone rings as it passes through the end caps. A tool like the Slap-Yo-Moma tank accessory tool from Big Daddy Vapor can prevent this from happening.
