3.8 volts might be satisfying to you...and then again, it might not be. It depends on the resistance of your delivery system and to a degree the juice that you're vaping...along with your personal preferences.

I've got a decent mod and with the different things I've got mounted to it I'm usually in the 3.7 to 4.1 volt range. Not always...but USUALLY. However, I find that I can sometimes improve the taste of my juice by making a 0.1 - 0.2 volt change. So in that regard, when I recommend anything I always stress the flexibility of a device with variable voltage. YMMV.

I use variable wattage, usually at 6 watts, that with my various tanks keeps me in the 3.6-4.2 volt range, I mostly do fruit juices and they will taste burnt if I go any higher. A lot of people say they vape at 8+ watts, I can't go that high with my juices. The nice thing about a variable, be it vv or vw they usually deliver the precise hit every time until the battery goes out. 3.8 is good if you can actually maintain that.

I buy the same hardware as my fellow vapers at work, i.e., LR 2.0 ohm flanged cartos, 1.5 to 3.0 ohm atomizers, etc., and a LOT of them have their pv's cranked up to the max.

I see them puffing away happily with no complaints.

But gad forbid if I raise my Twist to 4.2 volts. My butterscotch... all my sweet flavors... taste nasty. I'm sure it's the juice, but I still can't figure out how my coworker can drip in a 2.0 LR atomizer on a crack-fiend basis with his Kgo VV set at 6.0 volts and his Twist at 4.8 volts. And not be disappointed or taste burnt poop.

No.You need 6 volts. Get a Provari.

*#*&$### do I :), not with running 9 genesis attys with 28g kanthal, I like the idea of a provari, but It sucks at low Ohm genesis'.and is twice the size of my Paps Mech mod.
As has been stated several times It's not about voltage it's about watts, and great genesis setups need watts not volts, to run anything the provari would handle would sill be limited to 14.5watts.
